![]() Author has written 18 stories for Les Miserables, Trinity Blood, Phantom of the Opera, Once Upon a Time, Sherlock, and Oz the Great and Powerful. 3/26/12: Yes! Only seven months since my last update! That's one month shorter than the last time. Items of importance: I'm nearing the end of my first year as a grad student. Still lots going on in terms of schoolwork, and I'm also in the throes of deciding if I'll move again and/or find a full-time job for the summer. But enough of that. TGITT is going to return to regular, hopefully weekly updates once summer begins. Whether or not I should be glad to have time for this since Series 3 of Sherlock won't begin filming till 2013 . . . yeah, it's no debate. It's still going to be painful. Here's the status update for my unfinished fics. Enjoy! HHL: Sorry I haven't touched this in a while. I haven't been in the right mindset to write a new chapter. I'll keep it up in case inspiration hits me. BWND: See above. TGITT: Just refurbished, now with new prologue and new chapter. Regular updates will resume in the near future. By the way, I'm considering moving it to the Sherlock crossovers section. If anyone wants to offer advice about that, go for it. Now, back to basics: I am a college graduate (WOOHOO!) who spends waaaaaaaaay too much time on the Internet, procrastinating, and procrastinating on the Internet. My favorite Internet pastimes are Fanfiction, YouTube, DeviantArt, and reading random stuff at random times. I do like to read; I just need to do it more often. Let's get specific. Musicals: Phantom of the Opera Les Miserables Shrek the Musical Wonderland Wicked (finally saw it in London!) Sweeney Todd Spamalot The Producers My Fair Lady Beauty and the Beast The Little Mermaid The Sound of Music (it's a classic) I like SOME songs from "Love Never Dies" - the story itself is too silly for me. Movies: Star Wars (original trilogy) Pride and Prejudice (BBC version) Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton version) The Phantom of the Opera (25th Anniversary) The Producers (both the old and new) Howl's Moving Castle (I guess I'm officially an anime fan) Lord of the Rings (all) (can't flippin' wait for Hobbit) Thumb Wars, Spaceballs (just read All Star Wars Parodies) The Land Before Time series (not the TV show) Beauty & the Beast Ponyo Sense & Sensibility, Emma, Persuasion Amadeus Side note: I have yet to come across a movie version of Les Miz I really, really like. It's just a silly dream of mine, perhaps destrined to remain beyond my reach . . . ahem. TV shows/Cartoons/Anime: Sherlock Les Miserables: Shoujo Cosette Doctor Who Hellsing Ultimate Arthur Sherlock Holmes (Jeremy Brett) The Fairly Odd Parents Does "Jeopardy" count? Books (that I finished reading): The Phantom of the Opera Pride & Prejudice (& Jane Austen overall) Jane Eyre The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes Steppenwolf Frankenstein The Angel of the Opera (Sam Siciliano) Phantom (Susan Kay) The Time Machine The Hobbit (moviiiiiiiiiieeee . . . I need my Cumberbatch & Freeman fix . . .) The Lord of the Rings trilogy The Jungle Book Books (that I haven't finished reading): Les Miserables (gulp) Trinity Blood series (stupid TOKYOPOP discontinued the English translations in NA!) Vampire Hunter D series Notre-Dame de Paris Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde Pont-Au-Change series (the only decent, published Les Miz sequel series I've come across) Comics/Manga: Trinity Blood (thank God, the English scanlations are coming back!) Vampire Hunter D Hellsing Calvin & Hobbes A quick breakdown by obsession. Les Miz Favorite characters: Inspector Javert, Jean Valjean, Fantine, Gavroche Characters that are growing on me: Cosette, Montparnasse, Eponine, Marius (a wee bit), Thenardier (a weeeeeee bit, and only in the "amusing villain" sense), Grantaire (my favorite of Les Amis so far) Pairings: JavertxValjean. Tolerates ValjeanxFantine and JavertxFantine. Supports CosettexMarius simply because it's canon. The Phantom of the Opera Favorite characters: Erik, Nadir/Persian, Christine Secondary favorites/starting to grow on me: Madame Giry, Raoul, Meg, Cecile Jammes (is there any fanfiction about her?) Pairings: ErikxChristine (either one-sided or mutual). Tolerates RaoulxChristine because, face it, it's canon. Mildly supports ErikxNadir under feasible circumstances. Hellsing Favorite characters: Integra, Alucard, Rip Van Winkle Secondary favorites/starting to grow on me: Seras, Pip, Schrodinger, Fr. Anderson, Heinkel Pairings: AlucardxIntegra and PipxSeras. Tolerates IntegraxAnderson, RipxHans, RipxLuke and SerasxHans. Trinity Blood Favorite characters: Isaak, Caterina, Suleyman Secondary favorites/starting to grow on me: Petros, Abel (am I one of the few people who doesn't drool over him?), Wordsworth, Tres, Ion, Dietrich, Cain, Hugue, Esther, Shahrazad, Helga, Balthasar, Leon Pairings: IsaakxCaterina, DietrichxEsther, one-sided IonxEsther. Tolerates IsaakxCain, IsaakxWilliam, IsaakxBalthasar, IsaakxGuderian (Isaak, you whore!), HelgaxMelchior, HelgaxBalthasar, one-sided SuleymanxSeth (as much as Seth angers me), crack!-PetrosxIon, -HuguexIon and -HuguexKaya. Supports AbelxLilith and EstherxShahrazad cuz they're canon. Supports TresxCaterina because it ought to be canon. Sherlock Favorite characters: Sherlock, John, Mycroft Secondary favorites/starting to grow on me: Lestrade, Jim Moriarty, Molly, Henry Knight Pairings: Uh, TV!canon-wise? None. In my own head? SherlockxOC-who-isn't-really-an-OC-cuz . . . well, read my stuff when it's done and you'll get it. Please don't shank me, SherlockxJohn fans. Tolerates JimxSherlock cuz it's damn fun. I can't bring myself to really like, or even halfway tolerate, SherlockxIrene, yet I respect their weird relationship. Sort of. Would love to see JohnxMary cuz it's book!canon. I should warn you that most of my stories will be parodies, spin-offs or crossovers of some kind. I tend to lean toward the humorous, even when I try to be serious. Go figure. Reviews are much loved, and constructive criticism is welcome. Hopefully nothing that I write will deserve flames. Hopefully. ;) Have a nice day. ~PhantomInspector (The squiggly line makes me seem more cool and mysterious. Is it working? No? Darn it.) |
