Author has written 3 stories for Death Note, and Harry Potter. Okay, so...wow, this account is really, really old. I just decided to reopen it after some recently acquired free time and a decision to go on a short break from original fiction. But, my name is Lily, I'm sixteen years old. My home life is pretty transient, so updates are not always on schedule/ever happen. My major loves are my cats (5), Harry Potter (trivia master), romance (just because), and GOD (I attend a United Methodist church, even if all my beliefs do not always match up with those of the Christian church...the basics are there, and I love teaching Sunday School). I used to have a lot more stories but I recently just deleted pretty much everything, because they were all things I wrote during that 5th--8th grade period (yikes--this also explains some of my questionable favorites). Stories in progress are one Death Note, one Harry Potter (soon-to-be two). AND I WRITE OCS. There, I said. I write them. I like them, when they're well done. And they have been well done. Anyone who has not read Artanis' Disenchanted needs to do so. Point being...I hear a lot of 'I hate OCs. OCs suck. Why do people write them?' It's fanfiction. Why does anyone write anything? If I'm writing an OC, it's because I have a character in my mind who I see with a character who has previously been created, and I'm going to write it, or I'm self-inserting with one of my fantasy boyfriends (you all do it). Anyways, 'The Way We Talk' is priority numero uno, even with all its sucky-ness. Writing original fiction has been very kind to me, but I need a break. And fanfiction is great for that. So...unnecessarily long author's biography? Check. |
