About Me

Hey there, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, I'm Lore. To be quite honest, I'm never sure what to put in sections such as this because I don't have a tendency to talk about myself. However, I can speak about my interests and what led me to FF. I've been an avid writer for the past seventeen years or so and it's a passion of mine that has steadily grown and changed my style over the years. Constantly, I'm at work trying to hone my craft and create narratives that fit what I would like to read and hopefully entertains others.

While I'm quite aware that my cup of tea isn't the taste of others, I enjoy sharing my work anyway and cross-post on AO3, FF, Tumblr and elsewhere.

With that aside, I also write original fiction and have been working on several projects since I was a child. To say that I'm constantly busy with worlds in my head would be an understatement. If you would like to contact me for the sake of expressing an opinion, detailing your likes and dislikes, or anything in between - then please leave a review or send a PM and I'll respond as soon as I can.

Author's Note

In accordance to how I write, most of the works posted to FF and elsewhere are oneshots that are either interconnected stories or standalones. Long-form / Multi-chaptered works are written with the first few chapters posted and then finished elsewhere before the rest is posted up to limit delay. A schedule is being worked out to ensure optimal updates in tandem with my in-real needs and otherwise. Also, on the topic of shipping, I am a self-proclaimed multi-shipper and give priority to what piques my interest at the time.

With that being said, there will be no hate in any of my works nor do I tolerate it being communicated. Any hope of talking negatively about a particular pairing or character in a way to dissuade or harm those who support it will not be endorsed by me. Please understand that while I'm aware not everything is someone's cup of tea, I'm of the mind that everyone has opinions and deserves to be respected. I have no interest in changing someone's opinions nor do I seek for someone to change mine.

Therefore, if any of my works does not jive well with you, please know that your opinion is valid and I thank you for what readership you provided.

Kingdom Hearts Series

Twilight Mirage

A collection of snippets surrounding the Sea Salt Seven consisting of the Twilight Trio (Roxas, Xion and Axel), the Twilight Town Trio (Hayner, Pence, and Olette) and Isa.

1. Nighttime Dance - Xion has a hard time sleeping at night but Roxas fares no better.
2. Quick Break - Roxas used an illegal move to one-up Xion and finds himself at a disadvantage.

InuYasha Series

Affections Touching Across Time

A collection of fics exploring the InuYasha verse, interpersonal relationships between characters during and after the series, and so on.

1. Sweet Words - With their youngest daughter unable to sleep, Miroku finds the words to reassure her that even in sleep she is loved and protected.
2. Four Seasons ( 2 / 15 ) - Though their meetings were often fleeting, there were ways for their hearts to connect and be part of one another’s lives.
3. It Takes A Village ( 2 / ? ) - Rin has never been one who sought power physically. Her strength lied in matters of the heart. However, heart wouldn’t always keep the ones she loved safe. And she still has much to learn.
4. Daybreak - Rin aches to see dawn’s first light and what better way to view it than with someone at her side.
5. Compassion - Sesshomaru was capable of many things: relieving enemies of their lives, silencing an army of humans single-handedly, and instructing those under his command. Though, what most would expect him incapable of is compassion.

   For her? He could make an exception.

6. Empathy - When one of Rin’s research projects goes awry, Sesshomaru is given a bit of insight into what it means to be her and what part of her hadn’t changed.
7. Respite - Unwanting to rise before the morning sun, they talk in hushed voices and between lazy kisses.
8. Confection - Rin has never been one to ask for much or give away what she thought. So it’s odd how Sesshomaru just seems to know.
9. Lotus [ Available on AO3 ] - Even in the most irritating of situations, Rin knows how to calm him.
10. Happier - After returning from a trip to Kaede’s, Kagome has something to share with Inuyasha and they couldn’t be happier.
11. Talking to the Moon ( 2 / 4 ) - On the night of the crescent moon, Rin confronts her fears while carrying the most precious gift she'd been given - life.
12. Late Night - Inuyasha tries to put an inconsolable Moroha to sleep with a night walk and finds some peace himself.
13. Big Brother - Shippō didn't want to do this. If anything went wrong, then his whole life would be over. But Kagome always had a way of calming him down.
14. Sordid Gain - Onigumo awakes in a place that is not hell but the closest view he'll ever have of heaven.
15. Image - In a bid to see herself how she imagines, Towa asks her grandmother to cut her hair then seeks out her parents to show the new look.
16. Nap - Waking from an impromptu nap with their twins, Sesshomaru and Rin talk for a brief moment of mindful appreciation.
17. Challenger - Kagome watched as the challenge between Moroha and Rin commenced.
18. Lay - Returning home, Sesshomaru sought out his family in hopes to find rest.
19. Legacy - An early morning lesson between father and daughter lends to a new understanding of duty, sacrifice, and an unconditional love.
20. Reasons - While Jaken seeks his young lord in hopes of answers to his wandering, he finds himself berated with questions.

Guns and Roses

A collection of snippets taking place during the YuYu Hakusho series featuring Kurama and Yuusuke as they grow closer, bettering one another and themselves.

1. Check-Up - As a courtesy, Kurama wanted to see how Yuusuke was doing following his battle with Hiei.
2. Good Enough ( 2/4 ) - Kurama isn't sure what to expect when his mother asks to meet Yuusuke but disappointing her is the last thing he wants to do. Though, what is he supposed to do when the detective's presence changes him?

Smile Bomb

In the aftermath of their adventures, the future is filled with new possibilities and uncertainties for Team Urameshi. Growing up doesn't mean they grow apart and when the weight of the world becomes too much, each other is what they have. To heal old wounds and new ones, and nurture the thereafter.

1. Nostalgia - At four in the morning, the world is asleep, everyone except for a fox and his shadow.
2. Good Enough - Yuusuke is used to people trying to get under his skin but the world can only push so much til he pushes back.
3. Nuisance - As juvenile as it sounded, all Hiei wanted was to hold Kurama’s hand. Kurama, however, couldn’t stop messing with him for a second.
4. High - Kurama was already pushing his limits in his human form but he was always a risk taker. And how could he dismiss the opportunity of hugging Hiei as the Youko?
5. Sunshine Riptide - Life is a precious thing and Kurama is happy with the life that he has now, surrounded by the people he loves and with the one that he adores — so it would be selfish to ask for more, wouldn’t it?
6. Fascination - While showing his sons flame tricks, Hiei faintly recalls his first inclinations towards fire.
