Well, I am Emily, and I am 19 years old from Indiana (a town you've probably never heard of). I really enjoy all movies, books, and music. I have way too many favorite books to mention, but I do ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE TWILIGHT SERIES BY STEPHENIE MEYER. The highlight of my life was meeting Ms. Meyer in Cincinnati on September 10th, 2007. I love vampires and they are my favorite things to write about, even though it's hard for me to come up with original ideas. I've got a couple of stories floating around there, but I don't know how to make them come out. Anyway, I thought I'd say some of my favorite things... I'm a dork and I know it. I'm extremely protective and proud that to be a Twilight fan ;)

Also, I just thought I'd share:

During the Twilight DVD Midnight Release party at Wal-Mart, I got there about a half-hour early, and I got in line with all my friends, and they handed out the trivia papers for the contest, and everyone was like, "Oh, this is so hard!" and I was just like, "This is so easy!" and then, when I wasn't looking, my stupid friend copied off of me, so we tied in the contest, because out of the 200 people that entered, I was the only one who got a perfect score. I was pretty proud of myself. When my name was called, I was just like, "WHAT I WIN? WHAT I WIN?!" like some trashy person, haha. So I was about 10th in line and I got my prize, and I had my DVD, and I have to say, the greatest feeling in the world was getting that DVD and walking past all those people, some my friends, some people that went to my school, some people I didn't even know, but to see the look on their faces when they saw it and were just staring at me. They actually had cops there! It was hilarious!! And they handed DVDs out one at a time so that we wouldn't fight and push. But I thought I'd share that.

Anyway, about fanfics: Right now, I'm pretty busy, as is everyone in this world. I'm happy to be a beta to anyone who wants one, but I'm not going to work on any fanfictions for a while. I'm postponing all works until further notice. A resolution of mine this year is to write a book, not for anyone else but myself. I've been encouraged by several teachers and friends that I should write and be a writer, since I read so much (in 2009, I read a total of 40 books, averaging 400 pages each... and this isn't counting things I reread, such as the Twilight series 2 times and Harry Potter and Mortal Instruments). I've been pressured into it, but I think it will be a good thing. I'll keep you guys updated on here, and let you know how it's going. Until then, I'm here...

i was devistated when kristen stewart got cast because i didn't like any of her other movies, but now i've accepted it. i cried (sorry, i'm a loser!) when robert pattinson got cast because i used to like him, but got over that about 2 years ago, but now i'm over it. if steven strait gets cast as jacob in new moon, i might shoot myself... i used to be in love with him... until i realized he sounds like my older brother when he talks. but he's not! and taylor is amazing. i was skeptical at first, but i've grown used to him and he's amazing. he made me like jacob, and i'm like, "noooooo!!." so, i love taylor, still hate jacob. and i apologize to rob now, because he is awesome and will marry me someday. now, jackson was good, kellan was good, nikki was eh... okay, not the best choice, but did a good job, i think. peter made carlisle amazing!! and elizabeth wasn't there very much, but still gave me that motherly feel. ASHLEY BLEW ME OUT OF THE WATER!! hands down closest to anything i've ever imagined to the characters!!

You remember watching -The Magic School Bus -Wishbone -Reading Rainbow -and Ghostwriter on PBS You remember when Yo-Yos were cool. You remember those Where's Waldo books. You remember eating Warheads and Splashers Gum. You remember watching -the 1st Batman -Aladdin -Ninja Turtles -ghost busters You remember Ring Pops. If you remember when every thing was "da BOMB!" You remember boom boxes .vs. cd players. Making those little paper fortune things, and then predicting your life with them. You played and/or collected "Pogs" You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere. One word. . . . . . . .trolls. Windows 95 was the best. You watched the original cartoons of -Rugrats -Wild Thornberry's -Power Ra ngers -Rocket Power. All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand. You collected those Beanie Babies. Carebears Lambchop's song never ended. Silver dollars, which were cool to have. Everyone watched the WB. If you even know what an original walkman is. You know the Macarena by heart. "Talk to the hand" . . . enough said You went to McDonald's to play in the playplace. You remember playing on merry go rounds at the playground. Before the MySpace frenzy . . . Before the Internet & text messaging . . . Before Sidekicks & iPods . . . Before PlayStation3 or X-BOX 360 . . . Before Spongebob . . . Before Tupac was shot. When light up sneakers were cool. When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs. When gas was 0.95 a gallon. When we recorded stuff on VCRs. You had slap bracelets! You Actually played outside until it was dark! Way back.
