![]() Author has written 15 stories for Hairspray, and Sound of Music. Hi! ...There's not much to say about myself; I'm just a guy who likes to write. I'll write anything and everything; I write articles on pop culture for ; I write short stories and I've started several novels (since aborted, unfortunately). I like writing fanfiction because I've always been one of those people who end a novel, movie, etc. wondering "then what happened?" What's great about fan fiction is that it allows us fans to create our own stories that can weave with, depart from, twist around, or continue from the story that we fell in love with; in other words, fan fiction allows us fans to provide our own answers to the question of what happens to our favorite characters after the curtain falls. Things And People Who Inspire Me: Movies: Sunset Blvd., Stand By Me, The Sound Of Music, Back To The Future, the Sean Connery James Bond movies, Jaws, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, (500) Days of Summer, Psycho, The Haunting (1963), and many others Authors: Ernest Hemingway, Stephen King, Donald E. Westlake/Richard Stark (same person), Elmore Leonard, David Morrell, Richard Matheson, and many others Musicians: Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, Rodgers & Hammerstein, The Rolling Stones, The Charlie Daniels Band, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, and many others TV Shows: Supernatural (only the first three seasons), The Big Bang Theory, The Brady Bunch, The Twilight Zone, New Girl, Leave It To Beaver, Magnum P.I., and many others My Takes On The Fandoms I Support: The Sound Of Music: It seems like the Georg/Maria ship is the "trendy" one right now. I'd love to write a Georg/Maria story someday, but as of now, I'm happy writing Liesl- and Rolfe- centric stories. I've had a crush on the 1965 movie Liesl since I was a kid; that's probably why I gravitate toward writing stories about her. Rolfe has always fascinated me, too; it's always been a little scary to me how quickly he switches from being a love-struck teenager to being a Nazi. As I said, I've been writing Liesl-and-Rolfe-centered stories so far, but I do like the Georg/Maria ship and I'd be happy to write such a story, should I ever get an idea for one. I also think that Friedrich is pretty cool, as well; however, that's primarily because the guy who plays Friedrich in the film, Nicholas Hammond, would later go on to both guest-star on one of my favorite TV shows (The Brady Bunch) and also become the first actor ever to play Spider-Man. Supernatural: I only like the first three seasons; I think the show went downhill after they started their own complicated mythology. I prefer the "monster of the week" format that the early seasons adhered to; therefore, any stories that I may write in this fandom (I haven't written any yet) will be in said format. I love Dean's style; he's the kind of character I've always been a fan of ever since I was a little kid (namely, the Tough Guy With A Smart-Alecky Attitude). Sam makes a great straight guy, but he's dull compared to Dean. I also LOVE the Impala; if I could buy such a car, I would. New Girl: The only ship I'll probably ever write about is Jess/Nick; it's obvious to anybody who watches the show that they belong together. I also LOVE Winston, so I'll probably write a few stories revolving around him. The Big Bang Theory: I'll only be writing about Sheldon/Amy (Shamy, as Penny would say) and Howard/Bernadette. Leonard & Penny DO NOT belong together; I don't care what anybody says. I like Raj the same way that I like Winston in New Girl, so I'll probably write a few stories revolving around him. So there you have it... me in a nutshell. And if you took the time to read all that, I hope you have lots of time; you could have been reading the stories. |
