My dreams and aspirations are mine, and I don't think you need to know them to enjoy reading a story or two. Oh, and I love music very much. Recommend anything good you hear, alright? I'll have a listen.

Reading is another love of mine-- and writing, of course. The two often go hand in hand. I've been writing on my own for some years now and have been encouraged to pursue a degree in English. Not sure what will become of it, but that's the plan for now. : )

I have been bitten by the fanfic bug, I am afraid. Things pop into my head, and I can't write anything 'til I've written 'em down as well. I have one long-term project going on right now (well, two, but one has been abandoned in favor of the other--though both may have seemingly been abandoned for the past year) that I look forward to completing--or at least furthering. Easy to tell, it's The Artifice is by far the current fanfic that I am most vested in right now. I have many plot bunnies bouncing around my brain, but this one has to be seen all the way through, I think. Hopefully, I'm able to finish it out.

I do apologize for the hiatus that was unofficial but very real: Fanfiction took a backseat--or at least writing it did. Anyway, I'd like to say that I'm back in it to win it, but that's not the case. If real life sneaks up on me again (or if I just lose motivation), I will choose to drop the HP writing, at least for awhile--not to ward anyone off, or anything! I'd love if more people read my stuff, and the responses I've already gotten only fuel me to write more. Whoo-hoo! XD

Also!!! An experiment for The Artifice is in its beginnings over at my LJ. Scoot on over and check it out. I've lovingly dubbed it "Ten Seconds With Tom..."
