My name is Melissa. I am 24 years old and the mother to two wonderful little boys. I am hopelessly addicted to all things Twilight and have read each of the books 3 times now. I know, I know, I don't know where I found the time either?? My latest addiction is more specifically linked to Stephanie Meyer's audio books, which I listen to every night while walking the dog. Who knew that Twilight would be the motivating force to get me to get off of my rear and get in shape?

I am new to the world of fan fiction, and my writing may leave something to be desired, but I am determined to better my writing skills through practice. Hopefully by the time my toddlers are in school I will be able to contribute intelligently to their own writing projects!

My husband came up to me the other day and shocked me by asking if he could borrow my copy of Twilight. At first I saw images of him using it as a paperweight, or using it as a doorstop, or burning it, but then I realized that my non book loving husband actually wanted to read it. I tried to contain my enthusiasm as I handed him my well worn book but I think that I might have squealed and jumped up and down a little bit.

Even more shocking is the fact that he seems to really like it. Generally he only reads while he is on his ahem throne, but I have actually spotted him laying on the couch reading my book on a number of occasions!!

In honor of my dearest husbands new found interest in the world of Twilight, I am going to attempt to update my works in progress as often as I can until my plot bunnies hop away from me again.

Yay for husbands! Yay for Twilight! Yay for me!
