Queen Pina

There’s a reason the pharmacy includes a suggested intake
on the prescription bottle, and you, my friend, are it.

Pina is an illogical impossibility, an anomaly—an oddity in the genetic pool. At once shameless, and utterly spastic, she is an acquired taste—“but if you make an effort, she’s worth it,” and that is Truth. She’s the Queen of Passive Aggresiva, and from what she tells me, the weather’s very nice there. Her writing is quirky, and real—smooth like daiquiri, or ha! that pina colada she falls into on a not so consistent basis. She’s flaily and a Grey’s addict. She’s the reason we are epic ADD, and we sort of love her for it, really. Also, she’s a Corruptor of Innocence.

Annie is sort of legendary actually, even if she won’t admit it. She’s there even when Pina’s napping, even when Anne is off gallivanting—unwillingly, mind you—with Life. There’s a devotion in her that can’t really be matched, and it almost makes up for her tendency to fall hopelessly in love with fictional characters below a suitable—and legal—age. She writes with water, really—it’s the only reason why her words would be so fluid. It makes one wonder why she tries to hide her maturity behind words like poopielicious.

Oh, Anne, you should know better than to give us such a task.
All we can think of is: WE LOVE YOU. And words.

If Pina and Annie are the Terror Twins, then Anne is their somewhat proud, somewhat frazzled Momma. This should explain a lot. Despite being constantly absent from Epic ADD’s Epic Plotting of Epic Works, Anne is the mediator, the teacher, and the unifier – as in, Pina and Annie take great joy out of her various OCD behaviours including, but not limited to: colour-coding her notes, carrying around carrying around disinfectant, and arranging her sock drawer. But despite all there is to make fun of her for, Anne is both the steadiest, most mature kind of authoress and friend… while still managing to giggle over her crush on a certain neurotic – and fictional – soulmate.
