Hi everyone! My name is Ashleigh, I am 20 and I live in New Zealand. I am currently working on Living in the Land of the Dead, and I'm really enjoying writing it. The response I have gotten from this story is mind-blowing and every review I get makes me more determined to write a great story.

I will try as often as I can to update every week, but I am currently training to be a nurse so my life is quite hectic at the moment! Never mind, this story has pretty much taken over my life as it is and during lectures, I find myself writing down new ideas for it!

I know my work isn't the best, but I have a passion for English, and I love writing stories, as they can express emotions that are too complicated to speak out loud.

\\ Update (10th Jan, 2013). Hi everyone! Thank you all for your continued support and thank you all for still liking me even though I've been a slack updater! So, I have done more chapters for Broken Dreams, my most popular fanfiction, and I'm planning to update it weekly. I've also started a new Fanfiction, Living in the Land of the Dead, which takes place in the Walking Dead universe with a smart walker. The idea of an intelligent walker is based on the novel and upcoming film, Warm Bodies. It's an awesome book with an amazing, unique idea and it's really inspired me to base a story on it.

\\ Update (4th April, 2013) Hi my wonderful readers! A lot of you have been wondering when the next chapter of Living in the Land of the Dead will be up and I can promise you, it will be up within the next couple of days. I've been so busy with school and personal things that I just haven't had time to even think about it, which is sad because a lot of you seem to enjoy it. But, do not despair, because it will be up shortly. Thanks for your patience :)

\\ Update (26th May, 2013). Kia ora my beautiful readers! HUGE apologies for being so slack on the updates, but I have been so incredibly busy being on placement for my nursing training. The good news is, is that I only have 2 weeks to go before I head on over to mental health placement where I'll have weekends off, so I'll have more time to update the story for everyone. Thank you to everyone who has messaged me, telling me to keep going with Living in the Land of the Dead, and you've all made it all worth it. In all honesty, I had no idea the story would be such a hit! Anyway, tata for now and thank you all once again :)

\\ Update (24th August, 2013). Well, I'm officially on hiatus as is LITLOTD, but it's only for 2 months and at the end of it, I'll have some chapters to upload! If you have any ideas for the next part, feel free to PM me!

\\ Update (28th October 2013). Well, my two month hiatus is up and I'm working on a plot outline for the next part of LITLOTD. Gosh, you look at the piles of papers on my desk; they are absolutely covered in ideas! Next chapter will (hopefully) be up in 2 weeks. There is still time to hand in more ideas, so let me know!
