Author has written 16 stories for Twilight, Fable, Kyo kara Maoh!/今日からマ王!, StarTrek: The Original Series, and Star Trek: 2009.

I'm not dead, haven't dropped off the face of the planet, and haven't abandoned any of my stories!

My sincere apologies to anyone who believes this is the case. I hit something of a block in my writing, and while I've been trying to overcome it, I didn't feel like I could show my face unless I actually brought something substantial along with me. It's an insecurity/embarrassment of mine, and it's totally my issue and I realize it may seem cruel or like abandonment, but it's more like not showing up to work unless the project's done. I've got to reconstruct this profile, finish a minimum of three stories, (Home, Brain Matter, and Speculation) and then make sure my muses haven't died after that before I post anything else. Note that I'm not complaining, just explaining the absolute bottom line of what I've been working on and offering my guarantee that my readers will at least get those things, and that they will be done to the best of my abilities.

I know it's easy to think that stuff will just get left undone because this is the internet, and it happens a lot. But I'm hoping that my track-record when I'm on my A-game will encourage people not to think that I'd really leave the whole project unfinished. I'm not used to having writer's block that I can't just plow through like a bull in a china shop, and it's been a frustrating and unpleasant experience for me. It was easier just to duck my head under the sand and try and overcome it than maintain a presence and feel like I wasn't offering anything, to face the requests for writing which I just couldn't seem to produce. I thought 'I'll just work on it, and then when it's done I can re-emerge with it in hand, because otherwise I'll just feel like a failure'. Again, I'm sorry for everyone who was distressed by this. I swear I'm doing my best at the actual story-substance, and that as soon as I have it, I'll post it! That's all I can really offer right now.

Well, that and my firm recommendation that anyone who needs a K/S fic (and isn't already there) should check out the Ship's Closet on YouTube.

If I ever leave a story unfinished here then it will be because I am dead, or my hands have fallen off, or I have gone blind and can't master dictation. Whether it takes a long time or a short time, and whether the story in question has a big following or hardly any readers, if it makes it here then it is because I intend to finish it. Don't get me wrong - I have a lot of unfinished stories. I've just never posted them. So, to everyone who sent me kindly-worded inquiries on this matter - rest assured, if you start reading something here then you're going to be able finish reading it as well. I promise you that, and I'm sorry for alarming you. To everyone who sent me not-so-kindly-worded inquiries - this is what I do in my free time for fun. Please remember that.

Notice: Still working on my updates! I'm having a bit of writer's block with Speculation because it's my third time re-writing that chapter (which kind of sucks) and I've decided to do the end of 'Home' all at once in one big, long final chapter (not counting the epilogue) so it's taking a while, but my next update should be worth it. Hopefully. I'm also still going through comments and e-mails when I find the time for them, so don't worry if I haven't gotten to yours yet. The Home-related links are incomplete right now because I haven't had a chance to properly go and look at all of the new stuff, so don't despair if yours isn't up there, as it probably will be very shortly!

It's good to be back. _
