About myself: I'm a 46-year-old male who had never thought of writing until I finished reading OotP and had a few ideas about what Harry's future might be. I wrote a post-OotP trilogy, then the most recent two. I liked books 1-4 quite a bit, but felt that 5-7 were less good in that the plots were too forced and Harry was put through all kinds of difficulty for the sake of making him suffer, whether it made sense or not.

My stories tend to be fairly close to canon: no slash, no age-inappropriate relationships, no stories that contradicted canon when I wrote them. I try to keep the story moving, and there's somewhat of an emphasis on ethical issues, things like doing the right thing and one's responsibility to society.
