Holly here. So, writing, it's what I do. I've pretty much had a permanent residence at the centre of imagination land for my entire life. Of course I haven't been writing for that long, but I've always been into; movies first, then books (mostly Clive Barker - he's a genius) and eventually after readingo much of this man's dark fantasy and horror I began to write short stories of my own, over time realising that I was ito humour as much as good old fashioned, twisted plot. I find fanfiction fscinating because I like to think there is a lot more going on under the surface of a story. Everybody has their own interpretations, right? It's also kinda cool knowing that you're not only writing for yourself, but others too, others that share the same interests and stuff. So yeah, writing, like I said: It's what I do. :)

Hi, my turn now. So, I'm Emily and I basically dragged Holly kicking and screaming into the world of fanfic, but now she doesn't wanna leave! I've been reading fanfiction for a few years and have recently started writing it too. One of the things I love about it is you can make a subplot out of ANYTHING, as long as it's well written. It also helps when you reach the end of a series of books to be able to continue the story in fanfic, so you never really have to stop. I like pretty much all genres of fic, good writing permitting of course, but it really depends on my mood. I can be as fluffy as you like and then suddenly flip and go completely angsty. Most of what we will be writing here will be Harry Potter fic and my OTP is Minerva/Hermione so you will probably see them kicking about.
