I had problems putting anything in my profile, but trying again now I have a new computer and seems to work! Thank you for your help and advice when I mentioned this. The outlay of cold hard cash seemd to be the answer.

I am no longer in the first flush of youth but nowhere near a pension yet! I have a husband, three children, a dog and ME, but their order of priority changes regularly. Husband thinks he is lucky if he ranks above the dog and the children always think they are most important. Dog doesn't think much. I am unable to work at present, but I am a school governor, which can be time consuming, but helps me feel useful.

Cat added to the mix in 2010 and definitely thinks he outranks the rest!

I have always written things in my head, but it is only recently that I started writing fanfiction and posting it. My writing tends to be erratic due to the ME and, whilst I deeply appreciate all feedback, I am not always able to reply to the lovely people who take the time to offer their comments on my efforts. I have just got voice activation software, but it will take time to adapt to it and I tire very easily even when not typing.

I have written West Wing fanfiction in the past but started here with Stargate SG1 because we were watching it as a family at the time my daughters introduced me to the delights of fanfiction.net.

Jan 2012-My daughter got me watching Glee last year and I suddenly had a mad bout of writing, but found it easier to write by hand than type. So, I have about a dozen fics in notebooks, which my lovely daughter is typing up when she has time and I thought I would post those she has completed and see if people liked them.
