Background info : The Emperor of Mankind , after the Horus Heresy , was interred on the Golden throne , thought to be dead . What people do not know is his soul have already left his body and was wandering the borders of universes . There the Emperor met the Old Ones from Eldar Mythology and other entities and after exchanging notes ,The Emperor decided to reworked his Primarch Project , this time with a few crucial changes . The Neo-Primarch Gene was created , twenty perfect strings of genetic material that mirror the original twenty Primarch . They were then cast in to the wilderness of the multiverse to seek out the ones worthy for them . When the Gene had selected someone , a contingent of guides ("dead or missing"Space Marines , Sisters , Inquisitors ...) will me sent to train that person to embrace the mantle of Champions against Chaos . One of the factor that the Neo-Primarch have is that they can love and have a soul mate , which is essentially a part of them , enabling them to embrace true love and resist the corruption of Chaos .
