Description: A woman steps into a New York bar and discovers that you can find the truth anywhere, even in the most unlikely places.
Author's Comments: I really love this story. I have had three beta readers go over it, so this is one of the highest-quality stories that I have.

-Chronicles of Narnia: Temporal Consequences (One-Shot)
Description: "Honestly!" the man spluttered, "The temporal consequences of allowing any such thing to occur would be enormous!" A humorous one-shot looking at a new side of the Chronicles...
Author's Comments: I came up with this idea and wrote the first draft all in a matter of about ten minutes. I think that it's a beautiful little piece, but it is short. Heck, you should just read it.

-Chronicles of Narnia: Lucy and Lazarus (One-Shot)
Description: When the unthinkable happens, Lucy learns to rely on the Lion to comfort her heart.
Author's Comments: I wrote this after a discouraging season, and it is very dear to my heart.

Greetings!

It's hard to believe that it's been a little more than a year since I began my sporadic career as a real writer. In that time, I've been blessed with over 2500 unique viewers from over 40 countries worldwide reading my work. I am immensely humbled to be among such encouraging people, and I thank God for each time that I get a review or comment, as even the harsh criticism helps to grow my writing ability.

At this point, I have really scaled back on my fanfiction aspirations, but I am not done writing in any since, Lord willing. I have several more stories to write and finish up for this site before I focus on things that can actually be distributed without legal consequences. I have a number of ideas, and the past year has helped me to figure out what is a good idea, and what will never work the way I want. I'll be returning to my blog and twitter updates with more info about my work.

My name (well screen name, really) is ParableOfTheLastTok'ra. I got hooked on fan fiction about a year ago, and that's when my life became a little crazier. You see, for most of my life I have written anything you can think of: songs, poems, scripts, short stories, novels, what have you. The moment I discovered this website, about 10 million little idea light bulbs flashed in my brain, leaving me permanently blind in one eye. Actually, I just got overwhelmed and went to bed, but that's another story.

Anyway, I began to think, a process which is very dangerous for the people around me. As they watched the smoke come out of my ears in excitement, they shook their heads in disappointment. Muttering something about me not supporting them by being a rich baseball player, they walked off, leaving me with my laptop and well worn keyboard. I haven't looked back since.

As for my writing, that's another story. I've never thought of myself as a good writer, so I've always hesitated in sharing my work, but I knew that had to change eventually. I began to work on several ambitious fan fiction stories, which quickly were replaced by new writing projects as my muse strolled down the yellow-brick-road of my imagination. I eventually nailed down several stories which I thought were my best work, and I forced myself to focus.

On November 9, 2010, I posted the first chapter of my first published story. I was nervous about the process, but I didn't have much to lose. What the heck, I thought to myself. I'm never going to meet any of these people for them to murder me for my lack of writing ability. Might as well hear what they have to say. The first story I posted was from Stargate Universe, a show which I have mixed feelings about. I decided to put my self-debates aside in order to post something that is actually pretty cool. Since then, I have been utterly amazed by the fantastic reception that this community has given me.
