The 'Basics'

Hey everyone :D

So my name is Faye/Fairy/Fai, and I love to write. I write in my spare time in this pretty spiral notebook when I'm bored, and there's always a story in my head.

I'm a long time reader of fanfiction, but I've only begun to write for maybe a year or so, and I've only developed the guts to start actually posting very recently. Haha. xD

My favorite books/series are the The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Maximum Ride, Uglies, Mortal Instruments, and a lot more. So far, I've only posted fanfics for THG, but I'm working on several others that may or may not be posted soon. :)

Music is a good portion of my world. I don't know how I could live without it. I can go several weeks without food, several days without water, but only several hours without my iPod. I'm not particularly attached to a specific artist; I'm basically open to any music I hear. Some artists/bands that I like though are Lady Gaga, OneRepublic, All American Rejects, Green Day, Rihanna, Cobra Starship, and Avril Lavigne (see, I have a pretty wide range :p).

Yes I do have a Facebook, (*sigh*) but I'm not giving it out to random people here on FanFiction, so forget it. And don't try searching 'Faye' in the search bar, because as you might have guessed, that's not my real name, just a nickname.

Interesting facts about 'yours truly'

I really want a cat. Like, really, really badly. If I got one, I'd name him Cinna.

I have a 4.0 average. (So far, at least; let's see how this year goes.)

I play violin, piano, and can handle basic guitar chords. Someday I want to learn how to play the guitar for real.

I like blueberry muffins but can't stand banana muffins. Go figure.

I'm in IB (International Baccalaureate). I'm a freshman in high school. (I know I'm younger than a lot of writers on here. Blah. Don't judge me.)

My mom calls me a technology freak, when I know absolutely nothing about computers.

I have a pool, but I never swim in it. Again, go figure.

I live in Florida. (Go Sunshine State!)

I have an outlandish need to update my profile at least once a week because I think things get outdated easily.

I have black hair (with weird reddish-brown streaks from being out in the sun) and dark brown eyes.

People have accused me of being Mexican, when I'm really Asian. Where in Asia? Bangladesh.

My friend Champayine is the one who got me on FanFiction. She's the biggest Naruto freak ever. Shout out to her!

My worst fear in the world is being attacked with writer's block. Luckily, I don't catch it that much. My English teacher says I might have diarrhea of the pen. ;)

My birthday's August 20 (I share it with Amy Adams and Demi Lovato).

My Stories

Hovercraft: Avox Girl and the boy she ran away with (Andrew). So this is the first fanfic I posted on here, and it's the one I plan on devoting most of my time to. I'm not getting as much feedback as I hoped on this one, but that's alright; I'll continue posting it because I love the idea. I know that her real name was revealed in Mockingjay (Lavinia), but I'll work it in there somehow, you'll see. ;)

You Were Chosen: Ayala Talons - First victor from District 12. Some people have told me that the first victor was a boy, and that may be true. But, hey, it was never mentioned in the books, and I have an imagination that I can use, eh? I plan on making this story shorter than Hovercraft, but I'm not going to update this one as much because the chapters will be longer. I'm kind of stuck on this one, because I have no idea what's going to happen during the Games. :O

Rebellious Espionage: I thought of this story idea during vacation in the plane ride to Nashville, and I have to say, I like it. I've always thought the whole 'espionage' thing is fascinating, so why not combine spying and THG to make this? Thanks to my readers on this one, because I know it has no canon characters in it, just OCs.

Secrets, Surprises, and More: GalexMadge. At first, I just planned on making this a short one-shot, but then I decided to make this a series of Gale POV one-shots about his life during the Games while Katniss is away. I'm a huge Gale/Madge fan, so expect some of that in these one-shots. I might have to change the rating of this to 'T' later, lol. This will mostly be AU because of what happened in Mockingjay.

Catch a Glimpse, Take a Peek. Series of drabbles, from Effie and Haymitch's POVs. I personally think writing drabbles is difficult, so I might not update this story that often. It was originally just going to be a short drabble about Effie, but after reading Penelope Wendy Bing's drabble story 'Little Pictures', I decided to expand it.

The Review Revolution . . .

Even if the fic has 10,002,464 reviews already...

Even if the fic is older than time itself...

Even if it was abandoned a loooooooooooooooooooooong time ago...

Even if the author turned out to be a total psychopath...

Even if the OC is a Sue and the spelling would make a dictionary cry...

I will review every fic I read. What goes around comes around, and more people will review my own fics (It works, trust me). I have joined the Review Revolution. Join me. ;)

My opinion about random stuff

Chocolate: THE BEST THING ON THE PLANET. How people lived before chocolate was discovered, I don't know.

Twilight: I can stand the books. I actually think that they are pretty good, once you get past the whole 'vampire + vulnerable girl' thing. But the screaming fans outside the movie theaters at midnight and the crazy ones that break out in yells each time the word 'Twilight' is mentioned? Yeah, I could live without those.

Justin Bieber: Okay; I'm going to be honest. I think that if he had a lower voice and didn't make all the teenage girls in my class go insane, I might've liked him. But ever since he managed to take over the world with his repetitive chorus of 'Baby' and the whole 'fake-ganster' thing, I've decided that the world would've been better if he had remained in his Canadian home, making YouTube videos (no offense to Canadians, only to Bieber).

Team Peeta: I guess if I had to be on a team for THG, I'd be on this one. I mean, there's just something about Peeta that makes me intrigued each time he talks, and it's unexplainable. Opposites attract, right? Whatever, I'm Team Peeta. :)

Team Gale: Nah. Okay, I admit I was on Team Gale all throughout reading THG, but after reading CF, I'm fully Team Peeta.

Strawberries: I love strawberries. Especially with chocolate. They're definitely my favorite fruit. And strawberries remind me of Madge, so strawberries make me happy. (:

Flames: I cannot stand flames. Seriously, if you're going to take the time to read a story and then write a review about it, at least take the time to make sure the review won't insult the author or anything. Honestly, writing a flame really takes a severe lack of moral stamina.
