Hello, I am entering this arena to write the Harry Potter story that has been bothering me for a long time!

Some general things you should probably know:

1. I am British, so all my stories will be written in English and with the British spellings/uses of words. I think this is the version of English that should be used when a story is set in Britian.
2. My updating will be sporadic and unpredictable for awhile as I am in my last semester of a law degree and dealing with all that entails.
3. I do not like my characters to be weak and pathetic. They are likely to be stronger than in cannon, but I will make this realistic and not just have them suddenly acquire a ton of powers.
4. My stories will contain action, but will largely focus on the relationships between characters both in terms of friendship, family and romance, as I feel were this is what any good story is really built.

Some things that will not be found in my stories:

1. Slash or femslash relationships for main characters of my stories that are not that way in cannon. I have nothing against that lifestyle, and already have plans for a more minor homosexual character in my ongoing story. I simply do not write this as I personally have no experience of this type of relationship, so would have no idea how to write it well.
2. Snape as Harry's Father or a really good guy. Nope. Although he did an honourable thing he was still a bully and made the choice to join the Death Eaters. While he can be redeemed well he is always a morally questionable guy to me! Plus I am a JamesXLily person.
3. Same largely goes for Voldemort as a good guy.
4. Lucius as a good guy. I think Lucius Malfoy is a moron and a prat. He will be represented as such. However I do have time for the rest of the Malfoy family.
