I am an avid Harry Potter fan who began reading fanfiction as a way to satisfy a ravenous desire to know what happens next. After a couple of years of reading, I started to imagine my own scenarios about how things would happen and so I have begun writing and sharing these stories.

I prefer to remain strictly true to canon. That goes for romantic pairings as well as the details of the universe in which these characters live. I happily welcome corrections if I make an error in this department. Please site the book or interview where I can find the correct information.

Yes, I consider Rose and Scorpius a canon-friendly couple. The way I figure, JKR herself opened the door to that possibility with that little comment Ron made on the platform in the epilogue. Draco and Hermione, on the other hand, is not only AU but also frankly repulsive in my opinion. No offense to those who like that sort of thing, but I will neither read nor write Dramione.

I am American, but these characters are British. I strive to make them sound as they should by avoiding blatantly American slang and idioms and using the appropriate British phrases instead. I will inevitably make errors though. Polite corrections are appreciated.

Finally, this is a hobby. I have worked as a professional writer and I have to say that deadlines aren't my thing. I write when the mood strikes me, sometimes adding several chapters in a week only to completely neglect a story for months afterward. As a reader, I know how frustrating that can be and I do appreciate that people like my stories enough to want to read more. But please don't hassle me with messages like "update!" because I will not respond to them. I'm either too busy with my kids or my muse has gone on vacation. Hang around, be patient, and I will get back to it eventually.

One final note: Some of you may notice that I had posted some explicit "M" rated material here recently and it has since been taken down. This is due to my decision to comply with the official rules here at lest they start cleaning house and purge my account. I like it here and I don't want to risk being kicked off.
