Author has written 6 stories for Fringe.

Hello, friends,

I am Uroboros75.

Writing is one outlet through which the creative excess of my imagination is filtered through. Given literary ambitions, I figure fan fiction is as good a starting point as any for the improvement of one's writing, and the results of this endeavour will be posted for your enjoyment.

Whatever there is to know of worth of my person will probably reflect in my writing, so I invite you to browse my offerings and see if there is anything that strikes your fancy. My primary project is Pulling the Strings (for Fringe), though I am in the process of branching out to other fandoms.

In any case, enjoy!

WORKS

Since I would like to keep (potential) readers informed on what I'm doing, the following section will be reserved for outling my fanfiction projects.

The most important thing to note is that within my primary (and so far, only) fandom (i.e. Fringe), I specialize in Observer-heavy and Observer-centric material, with my stories covering different interpretations and reimaginings of the Observers and the Observer concept. If this sounds intriguing, then you will likely appreciate what I have to offer.

As of now, I expect Pulling the Strings will be my primary project. However, should I get ideas for other shows, I may get around to fleshing them out on the keyboard.

CURRENT:

As the name suggests, these are my current projects, both complete and ongoing:

Pulling the Strings [Fringe]

PTS is an ongoing planned seven-installment series based on Fringe. Parts I-IV are going to be pretty much Extended Universe-type fare which cumulatively adhere to 1.04-2.08 chronology, while Parts V-VII delve into post-2.08 AU territory. It follows three major storylines, though several are added as the series progresses.

-The first follows September, one of twelve agents comprising the League of the Witnesses. Pulling the Strings chronicles the trials and tribulations of the Witnesses as they carry out their duties as watchers of space and time in their goal to prevent the catastrophic Collision between both worlds that is threatening to unfold.

-The second follows Daniel Thompson, conspiracy enthusiast and Boston resident. After teaming up with a fellow Truth-Seeker, he begins to lead the offensive against the invasion force of the First Wave Hybrids, and the things that are to follow.

-The third follows Kenneth Miller, one of five lab assistants to Doctor Walter Bishop during the late 70's/early 80's period. A series of radical experiments unfold, leading the team to unexpected places, and Kenneth soon finds himself in the center of a mystery whose span is far greater than he could have ever imagined.

These are but a few of the storylines that comprise this canvas, and as time goes on, they become increasingly intertwined, resulting in several Big Bangs of awesomeness. XD

As of December 29th, 2014, Part I (The Arrival), Part II (The Deceived), and Part III (The Coming War) are complete. See sections below for information on upcoming installments.

I lapsed in fan fiction over the past 1.5 years, being in a sort of hiatus. However, I have not forgotten, nor am I giving up, on my projects. Part IV of PTS is forthcoming; I can't say when, but it will be finished eventually.

Observer See, Observer Do [Fringe]

September of the Observers is kicked out of the Observer club and is stripped of his powers. Unable to cope with the fundamentally foreign world of human society, September has the bright idea of tracking down the Bishops, since they will surely be able to help him.

It goes without saying that hilarity is abound in this one. ;)

At times it will be absurd, at others, witty, and sometimes even crude and vulgar. But also will it be a tad bit profound, and, with any luck, a little heartfelt as well. ;)

I haven't updated this in quite the while (2 years by now), but I do intend to return to it; I have 30 chapter ideas in store, so there is much more ground to cover. Since I update this series with less strict frequency, subsequent chapters will appear when they do.

The Reiteration of All Things [Fringe]

This one-shot chronicles September's trial and subsequent universal exile in S4, which happens during episode 4.14 - The End of All Things (or more specifically, it happens offscreen after September is extracted from the Lab by his associates). This fic represents my take on how this sequence of events could have gone down.

The People Of This Era [Fringe]

A one-shot from the perspective of December, inspired by (and set during) the 5.12-5.13 series finale sequence. December reflects on the past and future, musing on the paradox of hope and futility, and the friendship with a human boy that exemplified it.

UPCOMING:

Pulling the Strings IV (Title To Be Revealed) [Fringe]

As of September 11th, 2014, PTS IV remains at about 25% completion. I haven't touched it in awhile since I became engrossed in other projects. However, Act I remains mostly complete. I just have to get back in the groove.

For now, I can say that it will be the best installment yet.

In order to partially make up for my long hiatus, the first four chapters of PTS IV are available as a preview via the Google Doc below. Simply replace the (dot)s with actual periods:

docs(dot)google(dot)com/document/d/1vYuhYS1NbO2NFtHPO_EeJgy0mJPsKR6qAjiEOsiCMP8/edit?usp=sharing

Science Team Origins Story (Title To Be Revealed) [Fringe]

Now that we have learned everything we ever will about the Observers, I plan on making a Science Team origin story, chronicling how September and his gang were originally formed. It will be set mostly in the 27th Century, and will be a prequel of sorts, set long before the events of the show (and long before September ends up screwing things up).

As of December 29th, 2014, this story remains on standby. I will pick it back up eventually, but I first want to complete Pulling the Strings IV first.

Broyles-Etta 2031-2036 Story (Title To Be Revealed) [Fringe]

I intend to make a piece centered around the relationship between Broyles and Etta. It is Broyles-centric will chronicle various significant moments in their lives, from when they first met in 2031, to 2036. This will be my first non-Observer heavy fic, which should be interesting.

At present, this story exists merely in the conceptual stage. I want to finish the Origins Story and resume OSOD before I get back to this one, so it won't be appearing for quite some time.

Fringe Case Fic (Title To Be Determined) [Fringe]

I've always wanted to try my hand at a Case Fic. When my other projects listed above start being completed, I will probably start working on this project. At the moment, I'm thinking of a premise in which someone gains the Fringe-y ability to create independent copies of themselves; the Fringe Division is naturally tasked to investigate.

Other details remain to be determined, as is the title. I will only start work on this project after the Science Team Origins Story, the Broyles-Etta story, and possibly PTS IV are out (at which point OSOD should also having come back). I will update this section when such a time comes.

Ocarina of Time Trilogy [Legend of Zelda]

During the summer, I've finally begun work on my Zelda project. Ever since I've played Skyward Sword, I was interested in how the events of those game recontextualized the story of Ocarina of Time.

I intend on doing an OOT retelling, stripping away all gameplay elements, adding some realism and consistency, and reimagining the world of Hyrule with a history and lore drawn from elements of OOT, SS, TP, and a dash of MM. I've already started writing the first chapter, and I look forward to bringing this project to life.

BACKBURNER:

Lastly, these are projects that may or may not be actualized in the future.

Other than Fringe, series that I would be interested in writing for include Game of Thrones/ASOIAF, Silent Hill, Doctor Who, and Attack on Titan. If I get ideas for other sources, I will surely list them here. In the meanwhile, I'll list some plot bunnies for the aforementioned series:

Game of Thrones/ASOIAF
-Ideas I'm currently entertaining include:

--A Melisandre Origins Story, from her beginnings as Melony the Slave to Melisandre the Shadowbiner and Red Priestess of R'hllor;

--Chronicling the life and times of Brynden "Bloodraven" Rivers, from a youth to his tenure as Hand of the King, to becoming Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, and finally, to taking the mantle of the Last Greenseer;

--I really dig the mythology of the series (Dragons, Children of the Forest, Others, Giants, Faceless Men, etc.), so maybe I might do something with them.

Silent Hill
-Usually, those who venture to the town of Silent Hill have their personal demons become manifest in physical reality. But what about Silent Hill? What would things be like if the thoughts and memories of the town itself began taking physical form? And how would those unfortunate souls that happen to be stuck in Silent Hill deal with such a situation?

Perhaps this might be too meta and ambitious, but it might be worth a shot.

Doctor Who
-In the wake of the 50th Anniversary Special (The Day of the Doctor), I grew interested in the Last Great Time War. I thought it'd be interesting to have a story featuring the War Doctor, who ends up gaining a new companion during the Time War.

However, I've only seen NuWho, and to adequately execute this story, I'll likely need to check out Classic Who. Which is pretty daunting, since there's a lot of Doctors to cover. So this project is merely conceptual until such a time as I cover Classic Who.

Attack on Titan
-This project would consist of a prequel of sorts, chronicling the lives of the identities of the greater Titans (I won't spoil them out of courtesy for anime-only viewers who happen upon my page). People like the Female Titan, the Colossal Titan, the Armored Titan, and so forth.

I'm current on the manga, so the story would be set beyond the Walls. And since the true origin and nature of the Titans remains mysterious, I'd have to invent some lore. However, since this is a low-priority project, and the manga is still ongoing, the answers that come to light in the foreseeable future will undoubtedly affect the viability and substance of this prequel project.

...I will add other plot bunnies to the Backburner section as they come. These may eventually get promoted to the Upcoming section, but I can't make any guarantees, so consider this section a tentative to-do list of sorts. ;)
