COMPLETED (FOR NOW) STORIES

PAST AND FUTURE - Finally managing to take her break after a busy morning, Sakura Haruno runs into her boyfriend, Naruto Uzumaki, and the two decide to grab some lunch. As the two reminisce over the past that led them to this point, what initially promised to be a day like any other in their lives becomes one that is anything but.

My first Naruto one shot. I'm marking this is as completed for the moment, as I don't have any more written for it. However, should the inspiration strike, I'm not against adding another chapter or two.

STORIES IN THE WORKS

I should probably leave a quick note, just in case there is anyone questioning why I'm not updating often. My current upload schedule is...uh, "irregular", to say the least. Very irregular. I will endeavour to finish any story that I upload, I can promise you that, but I cannot say for certain how much time between updates there will be, because I honestly don't know. This is mostly because I have a bunch of other projects outside of fanfiction that I wish to devote my attention to, so unfortunately that means that this profile goes somewhat neglected - something I would like to change.

ADVENTURES OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG: MIND OVER MATTER - Dr. Robotnik has managed to develop a machine capable of transferring the mind of an individual into the body of another, and vice versa. Making the mistake of leaving Scratch and Grounder to use this device on Sonic, the Badniks accidentally swap the hedgehog's mind with that of Tails. Can the two heroes fight against the bad guys whilst simultaneously struggling with their 'new' bodies? Can the process even be reversed?

Yup. A mind swap fic. Imaginative, huh?

UPDATE: As I had mentioned previously, since such a long time had passed between when I left off originally with this story and when I returned back to it, my train of thought had also long since departed the station. My intention was to post the remaining chapters that I had written at the time (after a fair bit of cleaning up and expanding), and then write an ending to conclude it. Right now, I am working on the last of my drafted chapters before the new one that I'm going to do, which will finish this story (I'd not planned for it to be a long one when I started).

Somewhere down the line, after I've worked on a couple of my other ideas, I may go back to this story and give it a thorough editing - generally tidy it up, and perhaps add extra bits or re-phrase stuff to make it clearer and flow better. Sort of like a "MIND OVER MATTER: HD REMIX". Checking back through it while I was adjusting the Chapter 8 draft made it clear just how rough this story actually is. I mean, bloody hell, lol. The perils of writing without a more solidified plan (or rather, not sticking to it)!

STORY IDEAS

I don't know when - and in some cases if - I will get to these stories. As mentioned, my upload schedule is virtually non-existent, but here are the ideas that I am currently fiddling around with anyway, if anyone's interested. Who knows? Perhaps one of them may even be published in your lifetime! (*Sigh* I'm only half joking)

SAKURA AND A VAMPIRE (Naruto & Rosario-Vampire Crossover) - On the way back from a mission, shortly after Naruto's return from his training trip with Jiraiya, Sakura Haruno begins to feel...peculiar. She feels stronger and faster at night, whilst the day saps the energy right out of her. Plus, she seems to have developed a rather alarming taste for Naruto's blood. With the discovery of a bizarre seal placed upon her, and the revelation that her thought-to-be biological parents are in fact her adopted parents to boot, it turns out that the most "normal" member of Team 7 is not so normal, after all.

I have a couple of notes and a general idea of where I could and would like to go with this one, but it's still a way off from having chapters written for it.

NARUTO: LIVING THE DREAM... (Working Title) - I have to be honest here: I was disappointed by the ending of Naruto. This would be my attempt to rewrite it, using the Infinite Tsukiyomi theory that was passing around at the time of its release as a starting point. My plan then would be to move forward and do my best to resolve as many of the plot issues left unresolved at the series' conclusion, and go into how I had envisioned the conclusion being. I would imagine that this could be done in two stories - the first to resolve the immediate plot problems in the series' final arc, the second to plug up the rest, and lead to a finish and epilogue that would aim to tie things up with a nice and tidy bow on top.

A QUICK NOTE: I am a NaruSaku fan, thus this story would be a NaruSaku story. However, that doesn't mean that I am going to bash any of the characters, such as Sasuke or Hinata. I likely wouldn't focus entirely on romantic interaction between the two, either. Nor would I be writing this with the intent to offend anyone whom enjoys the ending where I personally don't. This is purely for fun! This as an exploration - a "what if" scenario. I want to make this story to feel as close to the real thing as I can in how everything is portrayed within the context of the Naruto Universe. To that end, I intend to treat each of the characters with respect - even the ones that I'm not so fond of - and do my best to stay true to their characterisations throughout, as well as give each of them a (hopefully suitable) conclusion. Public Service Announcement over!

I don't know when I will write this. I still intend to do so, but I have a lot of other things on my mind also.

BATMAN AND HARLEY QUINN IN: ARKHAM ASYLUM (Working Title)When the Joker had launched his takeover of Arkham Island, Batman knew that his night was going to be a long and dangerous one, filled with all manner of tough tasks ahead of him. Luckily, having dealt with the criminal clown many times over the years, he knew how to play this particular game of chess...until the clown in question decided to add monopoly pieces to the board in the form of giving Batman an unwanted sidekick in Harley Quinn.

This may be kind of an odd one. Batman and Harley Quinn? Okay, I admit it - I do, maybe, sort of like the idea of them being partnered and paired up. So sue me. The idea behind this story came about when I was replaying the Arkham games in preparation for Arkham Knight. During Asylum, on the way to rescue Commissioner Gordon, I believe, Joker makes a crack about the Bat needing a new sidekick and offers up Harley. The idea behind this story is that, for his own amusement (and to punish Harley for allowing Gordon to escape, perhaps - still ironing out details), he does just that; he tethers the two together, and they are forced to quest through the Asylum as unwilling partners. As they spend time together in the company of one another, both of them will be forced to realise that not everything is as black and white about the other as they had been led to believe.

I'm still figuring stuff out for this, so I doubt I'll have any chapters to upload any time soon.

AS YET UNNAMED MASS EFFECT STORY - I played the Mass Effect trilogy for the first time last year, and fell in love with it. I do have some plot related gripes with it, however, and that got me thinking. The concept behind this story is a simple one: what if the crucible attempted all three functions at once? What if it tried Destroy, Synthesis and Control all at the same time upon firing? This would basically be a continuation of events after Mass Effect 3 with this one change altering the path of events from canon.

I feel that I should mention that this isn't my attempt at a Mass Effect 4, or at least, I wouldn't want to label it as such. I just thought the idea was an interesting one and that it could be fun to explore in an AU story, y'know?
