I was always a bit hesitant about starting to publish it because it's my first story, my first child. (I often refer to my stories as children) So knowing that you like or love my story, that you anxiously await a chapter update, (Sorry about those moments folks!), makes me happy beyond words.

I make my sincere apologies right now if I do not get back to you on each one of your individual reviews. Also even though I adore ffnet. (Best thing in my opinion for anime fans since well, anime) I'm still relatively new as an author so take pity on the newbie before flaming but I am a big believer in constructive criticism. I'm not perfect, I'm going to make mistakes once in a while but I will not give up on a story.

Reasons for (finally) writing:

Honestly, top reason? The depressing lack of Xanxus fics where he is straight.

Not that I have anything against yaoi. (Junjou Romantica FTW!)

I will agree that the Squalo x Xanxus paring is so damn believable it's scary, BUT I still love my Xanxus straight stories. =3

I have to constantly HUNT, search through multiple google pages and links. I can probably count the number of Xanxus x oc (and the occasional Xanxus x Haru, yes I have stooped this low to even parings that would never ever happen in the normal KHR universe) off the top of my head.

What can I say, I'm a die hard Xanxus fan. (That ten years later version is just wow.) I have even read a german Xanxus x oc (With the power of google translate and desperate fan girl ness)

That's right. It's that bad.

So i got to thinking, while ranting to some friends, why don't I write a story? (Yes Liz and Christina if you're reading this you are a factor in this monster you have created)

Maybe there is one person. Somewhere who will thank me for this decision and my story. I can't be the only one with this issue...

And I've been having a lot more fun with it than I thought I would. It's been rewarding experience for me just reading reviews and looking at the story stats chart. I like writing too so that's a plus.

(Also to the one person who decided to write a Levi x Xanxus fic, where it was actually mutual and not the eternal one sided, I was scared for life by the sheer mental image evoked by the info regarding the story. No offense to any Levi x Xanxus fan(s)? out there but a little fan-girl part of me just died :x)
