Hi ! I´m a new girl in town here, and I have written something before, but never any fics. Reading and writing are two of the things I love most in this world! I live in Spain , and in case you didn´t realize, I´m not a Native English Speaker, but I read and try to write in English, let´s see how it goes...

And just so you know, it´s all Merlin´s BBC´s fault that I made this account. I had thought about doing one before, but I didn´t have any stories. So you have to know that I´m a big fan of Merlin. You are warned.

Books: Harry Potter, The Neverending story...

Videogames: FF, Kingdom Hearts, Mario bros...

Hobbies: reading, writing (well duh), watching movies, swimming, canoeing, basketball, saying and doing stupid things, saying and doing stupid things with my friends...

They´re going to show Merlin in Spain! YAY! I know I´ve seen it already, but I still get excited everytime I see the trailer in TV!=D And to celebrate:

Dubbing is loving, people! Dubbing is sometimes very different than the original version, and to prove it, here I will be adding scenes from Merlin which script in Spanish is different than the English one...ans that new meaning is sometimes cool, sometimes not. So here they are:

Season 1, Episode 4: The Poisoned Chalice

Original Version:

Morgana: You should be with him. I´ll manage, I know what he means to you. Go.

Spanish Version:

Morgana: You must go with him. I´ll manage on my own, don´t worry about me. Go.

(Seems like translaters don´t ship Merlin/Gwen=P)

Season 1, Episode 9: Excalibur

Original Version:

Merlin: Well... you could say...there´s a bond beween us.

Spanish Version:

Merlin: Well...you could say...I have a great affection for him.

(On the contrary, they do ship Merlin/Arthur=D)

Season 1, Episode 7: The Gates Of Avalon

Original Version:

Merlin: What is it?

Arthur: You really are a total buffoon, aren´t you, Merlin!?

Merlin: I was just asking.

Arthur: Who, me or the deer? We´re hunting, it requires speed, stealth and an agile mind.

Merlin: So you´re able to get by with two out of three, then.

Spanish Version:

Merlin: What´s that?

Arthur: What is wrong with you? Are you a bufoon, or what?!

Merlin: I was just asking.

Arthur: Who, me or the deer? We´re supposed to be hunting, that requires speed, stealth and an agile mind.

Merlin: Well, then you´ll be able to hit it.

(Well, not exactly the same teasing, but...fine by me=)

Season 2, Episode 9: The Lady Of The Lake

Original Version:

Freya: You´re not scared of me?

Merlin:Being different is nothing to be scared of.

Spanish Version:

Freya: You´re not scared of me?

Merlin: There´s nothing to fear from you.

(Aww...Merlin´s just so sweet in both versions!)

Season 3, Episode 4: Gwaine

Original Version:

Merlin: Why did you help us?

Gwaine: Your chances looked between slim and none...I guess I just kind of liked the look of those odds.

Spanish Version:

Merlin: Why did you help us?

Gwaine: Your chances looked between slim and none...I like going against the run.
