I have been obsessed with Sherlock Holmes for years, and the new BBC Sherlock has breathed new life into this lovely fantasy world.

Recently, a large part of my reason d'etre has been writing Sherlock Holmes fan fiction. I usually focus on plot, dialogue and character developement, and try to keep all my stories within one universe. However, when I first started writing, it was my naughty little secret. Then people began to find out. My husband first (and yes, wow, I do have a husband - I'm actually quite normal despite my long love affair with a fictional Victorian), and my friends and family began to read it. I also found a group of loyal reviewers. This makes posting your darker side on line somewhat more difficult; no-one can really let go when their Mum might see it! Plus your fluffy side, or your urge to post silly drabbles, is possibly even more embarrassing.

Hence my shiny new anonymous account, for short stories, darkness, fluff, one-shots - in short, the full ravings of an overactive imagination that is at times slightly more comfortable in fiction than real life. I hope I'm still allright at stringing a sentence together - that's for you to judge.

Most of my output will be modern day BBC Sherlock, although I will have to cross-post my old attempts at Victorian slash which I never put on my previous account as they disrupted my personal canon!

Finally, if you find Benedict Cumberbatch as compellingly beautiful and delectable as I do and would like to see him naked and/or shagging in Georgian costume, do look up To the Ends of the Earth... wonderful arse!
