Here are some of my favourite characters in no particular order:

1. Severus Snape

Yes, he is the best! I mean, this dark and mysterious facade which hides a brilliant but tortured mind - it's exactly the kind of personality I love. The brilliant fighter, the excellent potioneer, the brave and cunning member of the Order: simply put, he's "wow".

Kind of fics about him I like: Snape has thrown off his cover and battles the Dark Forces openly. (Check out my 'The Prince Lived).

Kind of fics about him I hate: Snape has an emotional breakdown!

2. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody

Just the type of person I want to be: battle-scarred and powerful (though add the 'mysterious' thing from Snape). Moody intimidates everyone, wears his supposed "madness" like a crown over his wonderfully useful magical eye. Really, the person who lived and died in battle is whom I like. Really.

Kind of fics about him I like: Moody, forever the greatest Auror, rescues somebody from a group of five-or-so Death Eaters. How does that sound?

Kind of fics about him I hate: I dunno why, but I dislike seeing Moody as the "mentor", though he really was one. So, a big No-No to fics involving Kingsley-Tonks-Moody for me!

3. Minerva McGonagall

Commanding respect and discipline, she is the perfect example of a woman as I want one to be. A teacher, settled around students giving away knowledge, yet when the time comes, she will not step back in showing her power and loyalty: she will lead an army if she has to. Perfect.

Fics I Like: McGonagall, go show 'em Death Eaters!

Fics I Hate: McGonagall/Dumbledore. Seriously, they're two of the most powerful of Hogwarts' Professors. Can't people get a grip on themselves?

4. Remus Lupin

The supposed "monster" that he was, Remus is the perfect teacher-cum-parent. The ideal adult too. And, most definitely powerful. Perfect, again.

Fics I Like: Again, I love battle sequences. So my kinda fic would be one where Remus teams up with someone else from the Order and gives a perfect demonstration of duelling.

Fics I Hate: Marauder's Era. I dunno why I can never get myself to read one.

5. Hermione Granger

Oh yes, the great Hermione. Muggle-born, and cleverer than ten purebloods put together! And she is simply brilliant.

Fics I Like: Hermione and McGonagall pair up to teach some Death Eaters manners.

Fics I Hate: Any kind of romance (especially DM/HG), and a stupid Hermione. Yuck.

6. Arthur Weasley

He is not shown to be the powerful wizard he should have been. But I admire him nonetheless!

Fics I Like: Arthur defends 'The Burrow' from Death Eaters.

Fics I Hate: An unconcerned Arthur? A selfish Arthur? A money-minded Arthur? NO!

7. Molly Weasley

Again, I would love to see the powerful and terrific witch she is. Seriously. Anybody offering me something like that?

Fics I Like: Molly taking charge of a skirmish against Death Eaters. Haven't read one like it yet (still waiting expectantly).

Fics I Hate: Molly, suppressed by her woman's duties. Never!

8. Gandalf the White

Gandalf is a wonderful character - powerful, godly, and yet humble as anything. He'll never act superior, and he'll let others do things themselves while guiding them.

Fics I Like: "Gandalf uncloaked" as he himself said to Bilbo Baggins. Gandalf fights someone like the Witch-King in a magical duel.

Fics I Hate: Gandalf paired. No! He was almost a god! A Maiar, the wisest of the Istar! Come on!

9. Galadriel'

She's another perfect example of how a woman should be. Powerful, stately, commanding. Never hiding from a fight, even taking on the armies of Dol Guldur almost single-handedly.

Fics I Like: Anybody offering me a Galadriel battle fic?

Fics I Hate: Motherly Galadriel. Fine, she was motherly, but I just don't like it. I'd rather see her working magic in the battlefield and defeating orcs and trools, even Nazgul.

Not slash. Ron has left Harry and Hermione and is now living with Bill - but he regrets ever walking out on his friends. His former professor, on a visit to Bill's, offers some comfort.

Is there any such thing as One/Eight fluff?

Albus Dumbledore and al'Lan Mandragoran. Hell NO! Imagining Lan in a fluff is emotionally scarring.

Suggest a title for a Seven/Twelve Hurt/Comfort fic.

Again, ASSUMING it happens, I would suggest: Wolfbrother and Seafarer. Lame, I know.

What kind of plot would you use if you wanted Four to de-flower One?

Harry to de-flower Dumbledore. Hmm. Probablyl an Independent!Powerful!Harry fic where he duels Dumbledore and defeats him, and confronts him about why Harry's life has been so messed up when Dumbledore could have sent him to the Weasleys or kept him himself.

What might Three scream at a moment of great passion?

Ron Weasley? We all know that: BLOODY HELL!

If you wrote a song'fic about EIght, what song would you choose?

A songfic about Lan Mandragoran, the strong, steadfast Warder and warrior from The Wheel Of Time. Also an uncrowned king. I can only think of "Oh, Death" by Jen Titus for one of his battle scenes.

If you wrote a One/Six/Twelve fanfic, what would the warning be?

Dumbledore/Dean W/Caspian. Warning: Humor, Magic, Winchester bashing.

What might be a good pick-up line for one to use on two?

No no no! Don't make me think of pick up lines for Dumbledore to use on Draco! NO!!!

What would happen if One woke you up in the middle of the night?

Dumbledore? He'll be announcing that I'm a wizard with powers enough to defeat the Dark Lord in a duel, of course.

What would happen/ what would you do if Three walked into the bathroom while you were showering?

Ron walks in? Hehehe.

Harry marries Severus! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure it will be great. After all, Justin's a proper know-it-all.

How would you react if Eight got into the hospital somehow?

"It can't be. Oh wait, it can. Considering you're OFF RISKING YOUR HEAD IN THE BLIGHT EVERY OTHER DAY, LAN MANDRAGORAN!"

Nine made fun of your friends?

I could expect that from him. But I'm gonna use his own tone on him. Take that, Severus.

Ten ignored you all the time?

I don't think Remus will ever do that to ANYBODY.

Two serial killers are hunting you down. What would One do?

Hahaha! Dumbledore? He'll send them to prison in a matchbox.

You're on vacation with Two and suddenly manage to break your leg. What does Two do?

Draco? Complain in his usual drawl, and then ask me to call the ambulance myself.

Ron? I don't know. But a wand would be great! Phoenix feather and Elder for me, please. Long, and Inflexible.

You're stuck in a house that's on fire. What does Four do?

Scream "Fire! Fire!" And not put it out until I say "Are you a wizard or not, Harry?!"

You're about to do something that will make you extremely embarrassed. What will Five do?

Speak condescendingly, of course. But that's why I like Justin Russo.

You're about to marry Ten. What's One's reaction?

No, I'm NOT! Please, I'm not gonna marry Lupin! I'm a boy!

Crack some of his patented Dean Winchester jokes and then shut up when I tell him he's not helping.
