I love how great stories can provide us not only an escape from the stresses of everyday life, but allow us to observe other people's lives and learn from their experiences. When I find a good story I want more, hence I’m on this site. Writing is a fairly new passion of mine. In other words, I don’t know what I’m doing. But I’m learning. As a fan fiction writer I try to respect my source material. I try to make sure my stories do not contradict canon (unless I’m exploring “what if” in an AU) or cause characters to behave contradictorily to how they were originally written. I’m not perfect, but I’ll try to get as close as possible to an author’s original vision. |
