About Me:

I love fantasy: Novels, TV Shows, Movies, Games (RPGs mostly), Mangas, and I’m always in the mood for more. I just love escaping to a creative world with characters that are so developed and real it’s almost as if you could walk up to them along the street and you already know what kind of conversation you would have.

I have scoured the internet for the dedicated fans who translate light novels or mangas so that I can know the rest of all these wonderful plotlines. If I was going to learn a language, it would be Japanese. That way I don’t have to wait for all the English translated things. I’ve always had a liking for Anime but I just never had the time to get into many longer storylines until my studies were complete. Now that I’m a "grown-up" with a "grown-up" job I can actually afford the time to be a kid again :) I used to wake up on Saturday mornings at 6am to watch cartoons with my little brother and now I find myself engrossed in a new anime and spend all the waking hours of the night watching every episode I can get my hands on... Have I gone to work with no sleep because of it? Oh yes.

I am currently addicted to manga. I can NOT stop reading them. Is this a bad thing? Let's say "No".

Favorites: (ill stick to Anime-ish things otherwise this list will never end)
Trigun – This was the FIRST anime I watched oh so long ago. Oh man I just love Vash-The-Stampede! I was hooked from then on.

Cowboy Bebop– Awesome, and this actually got me interested in the Firefly series (you would love it trust me).

Full Metal Panic! – Oh Souske and Kaname, what can I say? I love you! I started watching the show, then I had to know the rest of the story so I read the Manga, and then all of it wasn’t translated yet so I searched for the light novels... Good lord I wish the English translations would come out already. If they ever finish them (stupid Tokyo-pop going under) I would buy them all at full price; THANK GOODNESS for the fans who, despite breaking copyright infringements, decided to roughly translate them. I would probably DIE without them.

Fullmetal Alchemist – first anime (2003) was pretty awesome, ending movie so-so, I was a little unsatisfied. The BROTHERHOOD(2009?): OMG. I almost cried that there wasn’t more. Roy (SO Awesome, I've fallen hard), Ed (he's just BMAF), Al (oh I just love him! I think I'm more in love with him than Ed) man I just love all of the FMP characters. My favorite characters of all the series I've watched are Roy and Riza. If I could be a part of ANY anime world I would be in Fullmetal Alchemist.

Rurouni Kenshin – Kenshin... I would die for you (well maybe not). But really Kenshin and Kaoru, oh my imagination about what would happen between them after the series ended (without even a KISS?) was so much better ... And then “Samauri X: Reflections” came out and crushed my hopes and dreams. Was anyone else utterly disappointed? I could rant forever probably, I figured that their marriage would be better, their kid(s) would be so awesome, (and I say kid'S' because naturally they would have many due to the “married people actives” that would take up ALL of their time) and they would live to be old and tell all their stories to their great-grandchildren... Maybe I need to dabble in writing some alternate endings...

Claymore – Clair? Pretty B.A... Rocky? *Sigh* we should probably send him to boot camp, he can get a few scars in training, build up some more muscles, and in a year, I bet he’d be a knock-out (I should prolly read the manga huh, I'll get to it, trust me).

Avatar: The Last Airbender – Anime? Cartoon? Both?!? Man I just fell in love with this series. My husband actually loved this one too – it’s the only one I would get him to watch with me. His favorite is Sokka (I love him too). If I wanted the ability to bend elements I think I would chose water... I just love the water (my parents thought I was part mermaid as a child. I practically lived in the pool. Every summer my skin would get so tan and my blonde hair would turn green from chlorine). Back to the series: Too short, I want more (I stand that the live action movie doesn't exist btw). I’ve seen that a new spin-off should be coming out in summer 2012, excited much!? You couldn’t tell?

Bleach – I just recently got into this one... yeah I know it’s been out there for how long?!? It’s about time huh? *Update: OK, I LOVE Bleach, it was inevitable. I almost died laughing when Ichigo put Kon's soul into the stuffed animal, holy crap. I love Ichigo's family too, his dad seriously cracks me up every freaking time. Yoruichi being a hot chick? Fantastic. Since I'm just getting started I don't really have any expert opinions yet but I'm sure with time I will be writing about some of these characters (already have ideas filling my pretty little head).

Spice & Wolf– I was skeptical... Until I watched it. Great, now I’m in love with Lawrence. And of course I wish I could be as care-free as Holo. If only I could eat and drink as much as she does and maintain that freakin cute petite figure. So I’m slightly jealous... and despite knowing that only 2 seasons of the anime were complete (will they continue? Anticipation is killing me!), and only 5 light novels of 17 will be translated in English as of December 20... I still dove in; Finished the series in, oh, about a 24hr period. I guess I did this to myself. Will I have to learn to read Japanese just so I can sleep at night? If anyone would like to translate the novels for me I WILL BUY YOU THE JAPANESE VERSION OF EACH BOOK... I will give you a high-five... And I will love you FOR-EV-ER. If I was rich I’d give you a million dollars too. It could happen...

Ideas, Ideas, Ideas...
So I'm not going to say I have a huge following or anything but If you like my style of writing and want to see more then shoot me a message. Since I'm new to writing I'm keeping it to romance (so I can practice some more), but maybe in the future I'll get some awesome plot lines and throw in a little more action or drama... I have a few ideas of characters I could write about so I'll list some:

-Alphonse Elric & May Chang (because I just can't get enough of Al...) / Trisha Elric & Van Hohenheim (before the were married, they seem like they were sweet together)... (Fullmetal Alchemist)
-Souske Sagara & Kaname Chidori (Full Metal Panic!)
-Kenshin Himura & Kaoru Kamiya / Sanosuke Sagara & Megumi Takani / Aoshi Shinomori & Misao Makimachi (Rurouni Kenshin)
-Cloud Strife & Tifa Lockhart (Final Fantasy VII) - I was always pulling for these 2, in fact, I never liked Aeris (I was glad when she died, shes such a wuss! heh heh) and I even chose for Tifa to go on the date with Cloud at the Gold Saucer when I was playing the game... Tifa is such a better match for Cloud anyway - Aeris can have her dead boyfriend Zach and they can go and be all dead together, we all knew she really loved Zach anyway, Cloud would just be a rebound... (I'm a little mean...)

Creative Career:
Actually I’m an artist... I used to draw comic versions of my friends which they really got a kick out of. Then in college I decided to start a small strip about marching band for the band newspaper which was really cool (and nerdy, but I am not ashamed). I’ve been considering submitting a new comic strip. Im looking up how to get syndicated and getting together a portfolio of all the requirements they need... but that’s all I will tell you :)

Writing is a different story. Since I love the characters of these worlds I decided to start writing from them. I wish I could have the creativity to develop my own, and maybe someday I will. Romance is easiest so I started with that (maybe cuz I’m a girl? And animes almost ALWAYS forget to write in ONE freakin kiss for us... how frustrating!!!!). That way I can fulfill a little of the “carnal desires” my brain has imagined for them (I do get carried away I admit... is it my fault? I blame it on the evil writers of these storylines who don’t have any decency for us poor romantic females... and maybe the few romantic males out there too). Does my husband know I have a crush on almost every character from the series above... Yes. I am honest with him. That is why it’s a good thing these characters aren’t real, haha. I have never really been particularly good at writing – except lab reports (and even those aren’t great) – So I do really appreciate your feedback. Be kind and constructive please. If you read all of this, my goodness, you must be bored. Thank you though – in all honesty – You rock.
