![]() Author has written 11 stories for Escaflowne, Weiss Kreuz, and Kuroshitsuji. A lover of literature, I have been writing for just about as long as I can remember. My first major published work came off a computer running DOS 6.1 (upgraded from 5!) and I haven't been able to quit since. There have been ups and downs, hiatuses and hiccups, but writing is my life blood and I just can't stop. I graduated high school in 2000, from Ramona High in southern California. While I was not top of my class, I have a real powerhouse int he English department even then. I attended college at California State University San Marcos, receiving a Bachelors in Literature and Writing Studies with an emphasis in Victorian poetry and narrative and Medieval narrative in 2005. I then went on to attend National for my Masters, which I did not complete due to some major life changes. I currently live in Southern California and am the owner of a thriving Pet Boutique in the artistic Little Italy district of downtown San Diego- about 3 blocks from the marina and the Star of India ship museum. I have been published 5 times so far, for poetry and short stories with one successfully sold screen play (which will probably never make it to production, in all honesty). My last successful professional work was a freelance journalism in 2008. I hope in the near future to pick my little muse up and nurse him back the healthy robust partner in crime he has always been for me in the past. 2-1- is a brand new year, and though it has come with a really bumpy start in some areas, my resolution is to re-hone my writing skills and get back into the profession I dropped away from a couple years ago. I find fan fiction is an EXCELLENT tool to practice with that comes with a supportive community brimming with artistry and intellectual prowess in its own right. |
