My main fic, the one that I am still working on and have been "about to finish" for the past 10 years now is Your Basic Nightmare. I promise it is going to get finished! I have my ending all planned! Of course, the ending has been planned for years now, but whatever. I have been working on this story since I was in the 8th grade. I will finish it if it kills me.

For people who have read/are reading Your Basic Nightmare, I know that there are some major issues with it. It was supposed to be divided into 3 separate stories, but things got jumbled and now it is basically one long clusterfuck of a story. With that said, I think it has some good points, and it is my goal to eventually go back and overhaul it and make it into the series of stories that I once dreamed it would be.

For anyone that's been around since WAY back when, I used to go by Amora until fanfiction.net changed it so only one person could have the same PenName, and I guess there was another Amora, cause I ended up as Amora1, and I just couldn't have that.

If you're bothering to read this profile, you'll probably recognize my avatar as one of my favorite lines from Your Basic Nightmare. Yes, I am cocky enough to make icons out of lines from my own fanfictions.

Things you should know about me and Animorphs:

1. I am way too old to still be rereading the books and writing fanfiction. That said, if the series was still running, I think I could have been a kickass ghostwriter. Although KAA probably would have cut out all of the Marco/Rachel subtext that I would try to slip in. Which brings me to my second point...

2. Marco/Rachel is basically the only type of romance I will read. I have read so much Jake/Cassie and Rachel/Tobias over the years that it makes me want to stab my eyes out. Occasionally I will read Marco/Ax or Marco/Jake, but that is about it. The big problem with loving Marco/Rachel is that very few people write it, and even fewer write it well. So I am always looking for recommendations...send them to me!

3. Marco is my favorite character. Also, I prefer humor fics. I think these two go together.

4. I can't write Ax. At all. He fades into the background of anything I write. Sometimes I think about writing a Marco/Ax just to challenge myself, but by the time I actually get around to that, myself and all of the other original Animorphs fans will probably be in nursing homes.

5. I think the Animorphs, as teenagers, should be able to swear. And make dirty jokes. And have sex. And all of the other stuff that teenagers actually do. Harry Potter characters swore more than the Animorphs did.
