![]() Author has written 4 stories for Naruto. I really do hate writing profiles, but here goes... Hello, thank you for visiting my profile, and yadda yadda yadda. Well, for starters, I guess I should mention I'm not much of a people person. Even though I am quirky and love to laugh, I am a bit of a loner who finds human interaction much too draining. That's not to say that I don't have friends, because I do. I mean, I have a few...at least. After all, no man's an island...unfortunately. And I HATE talking on the phone. There's just something about holding the receiver to my ear that irks the hell out of me! So needless to say, my friends and I maintain a steady flow of e-mails. LOL! I absolutely love rainy weather! There's something about rain and overcast skies that always puts me in a good mood! Sunny weather? Eh, not so much. When the sun is out, I am in; holed up in my apartment with a good book and something sweet, or my laptop...and, well, something sweet. Speaking of sweets, I have an insatiable sweet tooth that I'm trying to curb which is a seige in itself, especially since I just discovered butter mochi that my local market sells and that I can't resist purchasing every time I walk in for my morning cup of joe. Good thing I work out, eh? Oh, and I love love love to write! It's insane to me when I think about how much I enjoy it. I just one day hope to do it for a living. It helps keep me sane, so the way I see it, I write so that I don't kill people. LOL! But really, I suppose I've always wanted to write ever since I read the picaresque novel "Fanny" by Erica Jong back in the 8th grade. It's sooo not the kind of literature an 8th grader should be reading, but what can I say? I read it and was hooked. I enjoy many different genres, but the classics remain my favorite. The Bronte sisters are my favorite authors. I enjoy their works so much that I at one time entertained BrontesBitch as my nic, but figured it was too inappropriate so whatever. What I can't stand are Louis L'Amour westerns. They still remain my mom's favorites to this day, and I remember as a kid I couldn't walk two steps in the house without making the acquaintance of yet another stack of them. She used to buy those things from the local Goodwill in bulk, it seems like. So I credit her with my dislike of westerns. At least those old books smelled good. And since we're on the topic of paperbacks... I LOATHE paperback books! Man, why can't all books be hardback? I feel about paperback books the way actress Faye Dunaway felt about wire hangers when she played Joan Crawford in 'Mommy Dearest'. "NO WIRE HANGERRRRRRRS!" Remember that scene? Yeah, well that's how I feel about paperback books. "NO PAPERBACK BOOOOKS!" Team hardback FTW! Oh, and before I conclude, I just want to say that I realize I have a few unfinished stories up. I promise to try to finish them all at some point. I just don't always have the time to devote to them, you know, what all with life and such. LOL! Or, it's just a simple case of me needing to be inspired. The creative process doesn't always come easy to me. It has a mind of its own, you know, rearing its head when it sees fit, and its then I try to seize it by its horns and get something written. So, until then, I really appreciate your patience. With that said, I'll end now. Goodness, I'm long-winded! LOL! Take care, and happy reading! |
