Howdy!

I am a writer, teacher, and frequent daydreamer who has been writing fanfiction since the ripe ol' age of 11. I'm closer to 30 now than 10 and seeing as how that's a lot of time I've learned a thing or two (and grown up a bit, as tends to happen). I've decided after careful thought to leave these fics up-- many (if you look at the publication dates) either began (and promptly stagnated) or finished when I was still a young buck. Grammar is a problem, there's questionable fantasies, things I wouldn't use in real (or fan-based) fiction anymore... but I like to look at them as my training wheels. I hope you can too-- there are so many stories here that I can put my finger on the pulse of and see how I developed as a writer. Each fic was like practice at something: characterization, grammar, tone, dialogue. I've become a not-too-shabby writer (who has been published! Experience Points 10!) and I know some people grow out of fan fiction. However, I have decided I haven't.
