![]() Author has written 12 stories for Laramie, Lancer, Misc. Tv Shows, Emergency, Young Riders, and Wagon Train. Welcome to my writer's profile. I have a fondness for westerns so the bulk of my stories are westerns. Yep even the one based on a 1950's Midwestern family. The one Emergency story is the exception. Of course Kel Brackett was played by Robert Fuller so there is a connection with westerns there. A short bit about how I got into writing fan fiction. I discovered the TV western Laramie late in 2009. (Lancer was discovered in early 2010) I fell in love with the characters of Jess Harper and Slim Sherman, as well as their alter egos Robert Fuller and John Smith. After watching every Laramie episode I could get my hands on I went looking for fan fiction based upon the show. Reading the many Laramie stories on the Relay Station, on the Unofficial Robert Fuller fansite, and here inspired me to try my hand at creating my own. The search also led me to several yahoo groups: the Robert Fuller Fandom, the John Smith Robert Fuller Laramie fan club and Lancer Writers. I thank the membership of these groups for their words of encouragement and their friendship. It is one of those friendships which inspired The Father Knows Best story. She mentioned that John Smith had a guest part in the episode Never in Twain. Taking a chance I watched the episode: discovering that I liked the character of Utah, but got seriously irritated with Betty. I wrote the story Broken in Twain to resolve this irritation. On a personal note I kayak mostly flat water, but I love to white water raft. I am physically old enough to know better, and mentally young enough not to care. So if you also run rivers: "May you all finish the river: upright and still in the boat." |
