Author has written 11 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Doctor Who, How to Train Your Dragon, Peter Pan, and Brave, 2012. Name: Ciára Favorite Website: tumblr. Favorite Author(s): John Green, Meg Cabot and Rick Riordan Greek or Roman: Greek Song: Final Episode -- Asking Alexandria and Young Volcanoes -- Fall Out Boy DeviantART account: Just type in 'The Glowing Wolf' Godly Parent: Hermes-for a godly father. Athena-for my goddessly mother When you see someone who was on Doctor Who, (say, David Tennant), in another movie, (say, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), when everyone thinks of that character (Say, Barty Crouch Jr.) you think of who they played on Doctor Who (Say, 10th Doctor) My Ships!!! Doctor Who: Nine/Rose: Oh, please try and dispute this! They were the foundation for Ten and Rose... Plus, they were adorable together and how can you dislike a Northern Doctor? Try it. Seriously, try saying you didn't like how he said "Fantastic" and other words. Ten/Rose: Completely and utterly bittersweet in the most adorable way possible. I can't help it; Bad Wolf and the Oncoming Storm are just cute together. Anyone who says any different is just not talking sense, really. [ Also, yes, I know I could have put the couple down as Doctor/Rose but I think that the two relationships were quite different. Nine/Rose's was a developing one, whereas Ten/Rose's was more flirty and obvious that there were actual feelings between them ] Four/Sarah Jane: I just love them. The (tries to be) serious Sarah-Jane Smith and the Jelly Baby loving Doctor. How could you not like them! But... still not as good as Rose and the Doctor. Amy/Rory: (How can you dislike Rory?! Although they made him kind of like Mickey, in my opinion. And well, with Amy I didn't like her straight away[same story with the new Doctor]because of what had happened, the Doctor losing everyone again, regenarating ect, and how quick it happened but hey, you move on and I've warmed up to her, now. Mickey/Martha: Pure coolness. Mostly on Mickey's part because Mickey is brilliant! Martha... To be very honest, I like -- no, love -- her but I really hate how the writers abused her character's storyline to cater to her falling for the Doctor. Torchwood- Jack/Ianto: Perfection... Well, as perfection-y as a relationship with Jack Harkness can get. But... at least they are adorable together (In my head, Children of the Earth never happened, leaving Ianto happily alive and still with Jack and Gwen. Gwen/Rhys: Just hilarious!! :D How could you not enjoy watching them? They always put an amused smile on my face what more is there to say. Percy Jackson and the Olympians- Percabeth: I just love this couple so dang much I can't explain it, because there are so many layers and depth to this relationship that wasn't rushed, but progressed slowly and realistically and when it happened I just -- it was very well done and portrayal of their relationship from then onwards it honestly so wonderfully bittersweet and perfect. Thaluke: I started shipping these two after re-reading the Percy Jackson series and well, it is a tragedy that is so sad but beautiful and... Look, it is so flawed and everything, but there is something there, after all they went through. Tratie: I cannot help but like these two -- blame fanfiction for that. Gruniper: Love love Grover to bits and Juniper is perfect for him. I love how she gets jealous easily and worries that he doesn't want her anymore, and says stuff like, "Well, he did used to have a crush on a Blueberry Bush" as if she couldn't compare to it! Beckalina: Why, oh why, did they have to die? It was such a shame because this was probably one of the best couples in the series, because they had so many differences but couldn't care less because they loved each other and Silena's heartache after Beck's death always gets to me lil w o w. Ships I have no intention of shipping. Gwen/Jack: Well, although I can see-and appreciate-that there is a relationship and feelings shared between the two, I see it more as platonic brother-sisterly relationship, really. Donna/Doctor: Donna is brilliant, I loved her as a companion! Again, I see their relationship more as platonic but I can easily see why there are stories and shippers for and about the pairing, and that's fine with me so, I guess I don't loathe this pairing, if I am honest, but I would still have a bit of trouble getting used to it, if you know what I mean? I guess I am on level ground with this pairing. Amy/Doctor: Well, it's same with Doctor/Donna, It's level ground with me. But, with Amy's daughter being married to him and Rory being married to Amy I don't think it would work -- do you?. But under any other circumstances, I wouldn't mind them being together, really. But I can't see it working out and they'd always go back to being the pair of best friends who love each other unconditionally, but platonically. Ten/Martha: No, I'm sorry but just -- no. I know that there are Ten/Martha shippers and I don't mind that at all, honestly, it's just that I can't see them together, and it isn't because I didn't like Martha, au contraire, I liked Martha quite a lot, just only as a companion, that is all. I'll be honest, though, there was some things that made me dislike her, but that wasn't her character, it was what the writers chose to do with her character. Okay, for those very observant Doctor Who fans, no, I haven't put River/Doctor in this list. Simply because it is something I honestly don't mind, it isn't a main storyline that much [unlike with Rose and the Doctor... When I prayed for storylines like that] and there is comedy in the relationship that makes me enjoy watching them :) but don't expect me write that couple, because [although I don't hate it) I don't ship it in the slightest] Perachel I see more of a friendship relationship between them. That and Rachel is an Oracle, forbidden from dating forever more. CalypsoxPercy: Nothing to say on this but it just doesn't appeal to me. Lukabeth: I guess I can see how it has foundations, but if it had happened I doubt it would have been a healthy relationship, to say the very least. Plus, it always struck me as a more Platonic relationship, if I am honest to me it is simply Annabeth's feelings grew because she had known him for so long, those feelings are easily mistakable. |
