A slightly alternate take on the series 'ending' and fabled 8th season. I like to think it completes Odo and Kira. Renee Auberjonois (Odo's actor) is the one that suggested this idea was totally possible in the Star Trek universe. I kind of wish the writers had taken this into account. It's a bit fluffy and corny, but it's lighthearted and sweet.

Takes place shortly before "Children of Time" in season 5 and a glimpse into the relationship between Nerys and Edon. Long distance relationships can be hard.

Yes, the title is a reference to the film. Picture a similar plot but with a Cardassian soldier and Bajoran woman instead of a Drac and a human. This story is a pure guilty pleasure and has nothing to do with any of my other DS9 stories. It's an erotica and all the usual Occupation tags should apply.

Takes place in Season 5 of the show while Odo is stuck as a human and Kira is near the end of her surrogate pregnancy. He struggles with his humanity and his losses. Kira is frustrated with Shakaar and anxious about the end of her pregnancy. The two of them are best friends so they discuss their problems and try to advise and comfort each other.

Takes place near the beginning of season 7 in that 3 month gap. A certain character probably shouldn't be there but sue me. This is a spiritual sequel to 'Gossip' but not required reading. Kira gets a well deserved and overdue promotion and Dax and Quark prank Odo.

Takes place after events of "Wrongs Darker than Death or Night" in the Pre-Canon Timeline. Kira Meru struggles to accept Dukat and stretches on through her life on Terok Nor. She finds friendship and love where she least expected it.

I wanted to explore the relationship between Kira and the hunky monk Bareil Antos. This takes place over several episodes but dives more into Anots' history and feelings and his positive influence on Kira. There's something powerfully seductive about a sincerely spiritual and attractive man. I missed Antos almost as much as Kira in the later seasons. It also explores spirituality.

This is not as dark or graphic as I usually go, but this is the only way I imagine Dukat could ever get away with fulfilling his desires in reality. The relationship between the two characters and actors is disturbing and dark and fascinating. I imagine poor Nana might have had nightmares about just this sort of situation. When I watched 'Covenant', I feared for Kira.

Kira Nerys had two brothers. One of them follows her footsteps into the Bajoran Resistance. He uncovers the connection between his family and Gul Dukat but pays the price.

How I imagine the scene between Kira and Shakaar played out in the episode of 'Crossfire ' in season four. Edon confesses his feelings and Kira reacts.

Shortly before the Occupation ends, Odo discovers Shirok Anasa, an orphaned Bajoran girl. He must find a way to save her before Dukat finds a solution to their problem.

Kira befriends the newest recruit to Shakaar's cell during the Occupation of Bajor. His name is Tahna Los and is a character that features in the early episodes DS9 later. This is a direct sequel to 'The Oldest Profession' so I encourage reading that first.

While Kira Nerys prepares to deal with Mother's Day, Odo thinks back to his past and his lack of a mother.

I was deeply inspired by the bravery of the show writers when they covered the subject of comfort women in DS9. This story delves into that subject as well. Don't worry. Kira will escape unharmed.

Takes place in late Season 6. Kira and Odo decide that the holosuites aren't so bad after all. This time, they settle on a detective program set in 1930's Chicago during the Prohibition.

Set right between Season 6 and 7. Odo and Kira have a last dinner date with Worf and Jadzia Dax. Kira and Dax discuss their relationships a little and Kira reveals to her a bit about what happened when the Dominion took over the station.

Takes place near the end of DS9 episode "When it Rains". Focuses on Kira and Odo, Garak and Rusot. Also there's a quick scene with Kira and Damar.

Set some time after the episode Chimera in season 7. I simply couldn't resist imagining this intriguing couple living together as lovers. They go over some of their past together, including Kira's troubled times in the Resistance, but mostly the two just enjoy each other.
