My little corner of the internet is fairly boring. I'm female, born at some point within the last one hundred years, working a full time job and deriving happiness from my fandoms as most fans do. What are my fandoms, you ask? Well, that's really not important - the important thing is I enjoy them as much as I hope you enjoy yours. Some I write for, some I don't, but I enjoy them all.

I believe very strongly in writing. Writing and language are what separate us from the animals. Sharing our ideas is what led to the development of the human race. Express yourself well and you can conquer armies with words alone; express yourself poorly, and it might be the last thing you ever do. Writing conveys so much about a person, about where they are in their lives, their beliefs, their joys, their woes, and everything in between. Writing is about exploring the unknowable and the invisible, discovering things you never knew you never knew and possibly integrating them into yourself. I don't write because I want to - although that certainly is true - I write because I have to. The creative process is amazing, and every time it happens to me, I feel a little more triumphant.

Since so much of what I write is Kingdom Hearts stuff, that gets its own little section here. For anyone who reads more than one of my stories, it will become rapidly obvious that Ven is my favorite character in the series. Many of my stories are simply me writing down headcanon I have about him and developing situations between him and his adoptive family, because nothing is more fascinating to me than family dynamics. I have a severe weakness for bonds between people that are so incredibly strong they will literally do anything for each other but not romantic in nature, and the BBS trio exemplify that very, very well.

In many of my stories I'll incorporate headcanon from various friends (namely Kia, Lynx, Erica, and Sceadu) about Terra and Aqua, and even occasionally Master Eraqus. Most of the background info about those characters you see in my works will be borrowed from them with their knowledge and permission. I'm mostly just filling in the blanks about Ven in our collective headspace, and it really is a fun exploration. I'll try to remember to put in notes about what I borrowed for each story, but if I forget (which I might, I admit), at least this note will still be here.

When I have a few more stories uploaded, I'll update this space here with a timeline about when things occur in relation to other stories and the games themselves.
