The victim of domestic abuse, she flees her fiance and wrangles a job from Thomas Andrews on his new White Star liner, said to be unsinkable. Sixth officer Moody wins her confidence and she confides her secret to him. For the girl whom she thought nobody would ever love, she is surprised and grateful when her life turns out much differently than she anticipated. Look After Her-My name is Katrina Van Doren and I've just been rescued from the Titanic sinking. My love, William Murdoch, has gone down with the ship and I honestly don't know what to do with my life now. There's my good friend Charles Lightoller, who has been keeping a close eye on me since the disaster... This is my adult life, from before the sinking to my final days. Twisted Reality-In a parallel dimension, a surgeon is taken from her correct timeline and put into one where the Titanic never sank and the captain, Arthur Rostron, is in need of a gifted surgeon to help, as the Great War has started. (I always thought it was a pity Rostron never played much of a part in the fanfic stories here, and I just like the guy :). Heart Of Gold-Joseph Boxhall was the quiet, taciturn type of man who never said much. On the Carpathia, he meets a character who refers to herself only as Violet to keep her past from clouding her future. When he finds out what type of person she is, he vows to help her get out of the mess she's in and offers her comfort and security. (too few Boxhall stories on here!) More will come!
