hey so um it's been almost three years since i last touched this account. and those three years have been great. i've become a much healthier, happier person and i realised that fandom wasn't really the greatest place for me.

looking back on everything i wrote makes me cringe so much, and i can now see how 1- bad the writing was, and 2- how yikes it was for me, a person with no experience of mental health issues to use mental illnesses as a plot. i now know that when i was writing, it was a sort of coping mechanism for me, but that doesn't excuse how i romanticised mental illnesses for the sake of a story. i want to apologise for that, and to say that i've made it a personally mission of mine to ensure that any art/writing i do make does not utilise themes/issues that are not mine to share.

over the years of my hiatus, i've continued to get reviews / messages asking me to continue writingi'm so glad that people somehow found my writing decent and wanted to read more, it was really motivating as a young artist. however as i've gotten older, and drifted further away from fanfic and writing in general, they've gotten ... not annoying, but they've become a reminder of the person i was back then. that person was sad and in a very bad place, my priorities were all over the place and it really wasn't a good time for me. i've since reached a stage in my life where i can confidently say that there will be no more updates. i don't ever want to continue writing these stories because, in my opinion, they're cringe-y and poorly written. that said, even if i don't like these stories anymore, i don't regret writing them. it helped me at the time and your support got me through some not very nice periods in my life.

some of these reviews have asked if there's someone out there who's doing a spin-off, or if they can write one, because i've abandoned this halfway through most of my stories. i'm not too sure if there is, but if you want to, you have my blessing, just link back to the fic or this account. or don't. i'm not too fussed. i know i said in a previous update that i'm going to protect silent as if it were my child, but honestly now i just don't care. some of you are much more invested in it now than i am, so go right ahead, make a cool ending for this.

if you've read this far, thanks. i'm not really sure why i decided to write this all up, but i think it has something to do with me wanting to start 2018 on a clean slate. i'm not gonna delete this account or the stories, because it's a part of my history and apparently some of you out there think it's decent. but what i am going to do is turn off my notifications, close off my inbox, and log out of here for good. i'm done with this era of my life and i'm ready to see what the future brings me. thank you so much for all you support, even throughout my hiatus, it helped to shape me as an artist and a person.
