Yo, my name's Dezra, at least as far as you know. You can call me Yotan or Dezra, or Dez or D...your choice. In fact you can pretty much call me anything and I'll respond. _

I'm an aspiring author, but isn't everyone on the site? Heh. I'm a college student in the major of business as I want to own my own game store one day.

Updates have been happening sporadically these last few years and I've been with Fanfiction.net since before they took away the music groups part nigh on six years ago. Yes, I used to write fanfiction about a boyband. Bite me.

Anyway, I haven't been inspired to write much lately, especially considering the stress I've been under and I seem to be slipping in my abilities. I'm hoping to correct that so I'm going to try and force myself to write at least 1 hour every day. Maybe more. Mostly, they'll be short stories. Mostly they'll be fanfiction. So you guys are in luck.

I have a hilariously bad habit of starting a story and not finishing it. Yes, I know, shame on me. It usually happens because I get out of the fandom before I finish writing. I'm hoping to stop this from happening by starting slow and writing short stories, but all the stories that pop into my head are longer, chapter-ed stories. Hopefully I'll be finishing up some stories to post here soon.

Until then, here's some interesting facts about me:
~When I get struck by inspiration for a story and I begin to write, I really have no idea where the story is heading. It tends to reveal itself to me as it does to you. Not a very good approach to writing, but it seems to work for me.
~I tend to write better on pen and paper then transferring it to the computer than purely on the computer.
~I do most of my writing in class or when there's a lot of background noise I need to filter out. If it's too quiet I can't write.
~I can't listen to most music with words or else I start singing and get distracted. XD
