Hi,

I'm English so I missed the craze that was Queer as Folk when it first come out and I only discovered it late last year. After watching one YouTube clip I purchased the entire box set of all five series and I loved it.

I have always enjoyed writing and had started writing and playing around with a couple of stories but I knew I would never have the confidence to show them to anyone they were just for fun. It was when I was googled a question about queer as folk and a fanfiction story came up as a result that I first learned of the site and then I spent months going through and reading so many amazing stories, there are some truly talented authors on this site. (And I will get round to reviewing every story that I enjoyed now I have an account!)

After I discovered the site I started writing stories about Brian and Justin because I found their relationship to be extremely interesting and complex and I knew they would make great subject matter. It took me a long while to even register with the site let alone pluck up the courage to post a story but I am so glad that I finally did. It was lovely to read the wonderful reviews that people had taken the time to post.

I'm still very new at writing and even though I try my best I know I still have a lot to learn and a long way to go but I figured that's what this site is designed for.

I really do appreciate all positive reviews and constructive criticism as they help me have the confidence to continue writing and improve along the way.
