Hello to you FicFans,

Since you clicked on my PenName, it's probably to know a bit about myself. What could I tell you?...Well, first of all, I'm a man of 40 years old with a beard and tattoos. LOL! Nah...I'm a girl. Ah!Ah! I'm almost 30 years old, and I was born in Montreal (it's in Canada, Province of Quebec...for those of you who don't know where Canada is, it's just above USA. LOL!). My native language is French, well, my first language was probably babbling (baby sounds) but nobody cares about that, we all spoke it. Isn't it great that everybody on this Earth spoke the same language before 6 months old? Ah...

To continue with my super interresting life, I started to learn English at a young age (around 8 years of age), you know, in school. But my teachers were so lame, that at 15 years old, the only words I knew were: yes, no and toaster. Oh, oh, and muffin. The worst thing is, all of this is true. I cross my heart.

So, on the summer between my 3rd and 4th year of High School, I decided that it was time to learn English properly. I was annoyed by my sister (who's 3 years older than me and a genius) who was always watching TV shows like Seinfeld and Mad About You and was laughing her a$s off. So I bought a book, and an English dictionary, and started to read...more the dictionary than the book, but hey, it was a start. It took me 8 months to read 300 pages. It was awful, I didn't even remember what the story was about when I was done with it. Great TV shows also helped me to prononce correctly the words I read on paper. It took about 5 years of hard labor, but it worked. Good thing because my Nursing books were all in English (I'm a Registered Nurse) and I saw so many people leave the class because they just couldn't follow in English. I then secretly thanked Jerry Seinfeld for wanting to laugh at his jokes. lol!

As you know now, or knew before, I'm a funny girl. That is the result of a man (my dad) meeting a girl (my mom) at work in 1970, who then walked to her, kissed her on the mouth, and said to her: "One day, you'll marry me." And then the girl slapped him right across the face saying: "Jerk!" They've been happily married for 34 years. sigh
