Author has written 4 stories for Inuyasha. Hello Everyone! I will be honest I'm not the most reliable fanfiction writer but I will do my best. I am a 27 year old navy veteran who is currently working as a medical assistant. I actually have another fanfic penname, Vixenia, but a part of me wanted to start a new penname as that previous one I started back in midde school and well...I think I'm more grown up now and want my fanfics to reflect that! I have two dogs, a korean jindo, Link, and a basenji/cattledog, Zelda. I also have three cats, Luna, Oliver, and Murphy (my newest companion). As some of you have read in Solace of the West and It Takes a Village, I have recently lost my cat Artemis. He was a chocolate point siamese with the brightest blue eyes and sweetest disposition you could imagine. Every time people came to visit my home, he was the one they always wanted to take home with them. He was a great host, and would greet you at the door, have polite witty conversation with you, and was more than willing to cuddle whether you were happy or sad. He got me through a divorce with my best friend. He was there when a new man came into my life. He was there when I was broke. He was there when I became more broke by buying a house. He left this world too soon, and in the worst possible way, slowly dying from something that had no cure, and no matter what medication I gave him or how many syringes of food I got him to swallow, my sweet chatty cat was no longer mine to keep. Please understand if I don't post very quickly, or if my fanfics sometimes get a little sad, that I am grieving. I am that person ugly crying in my car as people at the traffic light beg me to roll down my window so they can tell me I am loved and it will be okay (this happened the day I took Artemis to the vet one last time). Throughout my life, I've experienced laughter, pain, sorrow, broken dreams, success, and frustration. I want to use all these things that I've learned, and create amazing stories that when you are home with nothing to do, when I post something, I want to be the writer that makes you stop everything you are doing just to read an update. Also I promise never to be an asshole and post those chapters just saying sorry not sorry no chapter today. Seriously, those people are assholes. On that note, I am madly in love with the idea of Sesshomaru and Kagome being together, and I always feel the true red string of fate that ties them together is Rin. So please bare with me as I try to make some semblance of how the three of them would all come together, if Rumiko Takahashi had just given them a chance. Do not expect alternate universe fanfics, at least not for them. Because the key things that make this couple fall into place, are the elements that had brought them together. So I wish to respect that, and write with the idea of a true Feudal fairytale. Thank you for listening to my rant!!! And have a blessed happy new year!!! A WORD ON REVIEWS: I try to reply to each one I get. Might take me a little while, but I do respond, unless you have private messaging disabled. As reviews are the currency exchanged between readers and authors for the otherwise free material on these sites, I think leaving them is the considerate thing to do. Good, bad, let us authors know how our work is received. For me, the more detailed the review the better, as I then get to learn about where I'm going wrong or what I need to clarify. And I always give back detailed replies. Besides, I think I speak for all writers when I say if you can spend an hour reading our work, then you can spend a minute sharing your thoughts. I appreciate feedback. (Originally written by DMNQ8, her post was so amazing I had to post it!) |
