Author has written 57 stories for Pair of Kings, Mighty Med, Lab Rats, 2012, Best Friends Whenever, Descendants, 2015, Lab Rats: Elite Force, Henry Danger, Doctor Who, Legends of Tomorrow, Flash, Supernatural, and Arrow. I do not own any of the shows I write about, except for the plots of the stories and the OCs I occasionally use. Covers are made with pictures taken at random from the internet (so, I don't own the used pictures either). Name: call me Writer Gender: female Orientation: asexual, possibly aromantic Age: university student Country: Belgium Languages: Dutch (native), English, German, bit of French. Very basic Irish; want to learn Swedish and Flemish Sign Language Favorite… ...Books: Tolkien’s works, A Song of Ice and Fire series, all of Rick Riordan’s books, Harry Potter series, Ranger’s Apprentice, Hunger Games ...Musicals: ALL OF THEM! (more specifically Be More Chill, Great Comet, Les Miserables, The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals and Hamilton with a bit of Dear Evan Hansen, Come From Away, Rent and Wicked on the side. Others not listed, because it would be too long a list) ...Movies: some book adaptations (not the Percy Jackson abomination!) Stardust, MCU movies, Disney movies; generally well-constructed action stories ...Shows: Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock; DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Agent Carter, The Flash (2014); Merlin, Last Week Tonight / Expeditie Robinson, De Mol, Wie Is De Mol?, The Voice Senior ...Music: no particular artists or groups; if I like a song, I like it. I don't like something just because it's "from this band that I like". Still, my playlists are mostly musical songs and Eurovision. Tons of Eurovision. Current side-project that isn't writing: translating Hamilton into Dutch. Follow my adventure on Tumblr. Writing style Rating: usually K and T, never M. Romance will be limited to showing affection and possible occasional kissing. Violence and fights scenes will not be too graphic. Nothing rated M will ever appear in any of my stories. Word/chapter count: At this moment, I'm writing longer stories that have around or more than 25 chapters, which will average at around 2,000 words per chapters with expected fluctuations. Still, the story dictates its length, not the other way around. Characters: I do not tolerate OOC-ness from the characters I write, though I am aware sometimes the plot demands them to act unlike themselves. I respect all characters, even those I don't like or downright hate with a burning passion. You will not detect that I hate a character from my writing; however, you might be able to figure out my favorites based on the things that happen to them (don't know why, but I seem to like to torture them). I am not afraid to kill off characters when the story demands it; whether they are side-characters, fan favorites or the narrator. They can all die. Ending: not every story will have a happy ending. Alternatively, not every character will have a happy ending, either. I tend to favor realistic endings, depending on how the story plays out. Hunger Games: SYOT Tributes Balder Stein, closeted bisexual with nothing to lose (D2M, 17) for Ghost Stories: the 4th Quarter Quell by basicgay (pre-Games) Gaius Alabaster; mute Career (D2M, 18) for Shattered: The 113th Hunger Games by cjborange (placed 17th, Bloodbath) Joule Merchiers; loved his brother so much (D3M, 13) for Broken: The 83rd Hunger Games by cjborange (placed 19th, Bloodbath) Arien Whicker, naive child (D10M, 13) for Shattered: The 113th Hunger Games by cjborange (in the Games) Jaro Veldt; the living volunteering-for-sick-sibling trope (D11M, 15) for Broken: The 83rd Hunger Games by cjborange (placed 3rd, Day 9) Charles "Charlie" Gerow; the third Gerow in the arena (D12M, 13) for Whims of Fate: The 127th Hunger Games by CelticGames4 (placed 19th, Night 2) Rachel Powers, the neurodivergent scientist prodigy (D13F, 15) for Ghost Stories: the 4th Quarter Quell by basicgay (pre-Games) Why I moderate guest reviews I’ll start this off with: I love my regular reviewers and reviews in general; who doesn’t? They provide feedback and have taken time out of their precious time to give their honest opinion. Your reviews are very much appreciated. However, I do not tolerate it when anyone, including anonymous guests, attacks the author directly. Guest reviewers attacking me personally will be deleted. It’s hurtful and in my experience, they usually offer no commentary to the story itself beyond the many variations of “this sucks” – which does not help me at all to become a better writer. There’s also spam; I don’t tolerate that either. The smallest definition of spam is 'irrelevant or unsolicited messages on the Internet'. While “Kill X off next chapter!” and “write longer chapters” aren’t entirely irrelevant or unsolicited, they usually do not provide any criticism, so they may not make it to the review section either. Still, I do believe in free speech, so I will be lenient and whether guest reviews appears will be decided on a case-by-case basis. However, this does not mean I will tolerate hate speech. You can keep your hate to yourself. Also (and I cannot say this loudly enough) my main audience is me, but I still want to share my stories with the world and I like the support and interaction. If you like it, great; if you hate it, also great. I can’t predict which stories will be successful and which won’t. Some of my stories were more successful than I ever expected them to and my current pet project isn't nearly as successful as I hoped it would be. That happens. And yes, some stories aren't as good as I thought they were when I wrote them. You don't need to remind me; I'm very much aware these stories are trash and I cringe when I re-read them. Still, some people still read and like it, so I'm not taking them down. My stories --In Progress Angel City (Supernatural) 24/31 chapters; updated as my mental health allows, hopefully once a week A cruel angel leadership, lead by Michael, rules over the city with an iron fist. The resistance stands in the way of having peace and will stop at nothing to dethrone the angels and install their own, human council. The young angel Castiel has been chosen to infiltrate the resistance and break them apart from the inside out, but that is easier said than done... Nothing left to lose (The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals) 25/26 chapters; updated as my mental health allows, hopefully once a week As Paul struggles not to sing and dance, he stumbles upon a group of survivors that recognizes his struggle and allow him to come with them, to become better. (Post-apotheosis survival story with a multitude of OC's and a shining role for Paul) --Story ideas / progress 2186 (Legends of Tomorrow) around 18 chapters; probably November 2021, if I keep neglecting this idea The Legends believe they are leading a peaceful life in 2186. Until John Constantine shows up to wake them up to the truth.
