I love to read fanfiction...especially slash (M/M and F/F) fics since not everyone sees an overload of them out there. Of course...some het. (heterosexual) pairings are also good to read. I WILL NOT TOLERATE IGNORANT COMMENTS ABOUT HOMOSEXUALITY...I DON'T NEED YOUR OPINION ON WHAT I SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT LIKE TO READ!!! And by the way...I am an Art major at my college...so...I am not exactly good at writing. Don't talk to me saying "If you're not a writer, why are you even on here?" I don't believe I have to be a writer to have a profile on to enjoy great stories. So screw you! XD I am also here to support those who are writing these fanfics because they have some serious talent that should be acknowledged.

As for the HP characters...I like them mostly during their Hogwarts years and AU (alternate universe)..even a couple of crossovers are good too! Genres-Romance, Horror, Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Humor, Adventure, Drama.

One fandom I am interested in is Harry Potter, just to be clear...with relationships amongst original characters in the books...although this is fan-FICTION.

M/M pairings: Especially in rivaling houses...I know it's kinda common..but for a good read, I honestly think you can't go wrong with rival house pairings! I'd also love to see more uncommon or rare pairings! Even some in-house pairings are acceptable! Also..if some of these pairings do not have stories about them...here's a few ideas...

Random note: Although I love Harry Potter as the main protagonist just as much as the next girl...but I'm often finding myself wondering about the other minor characters in the HP universe. I mean..I love JKR and I know she did those things for a reason..but I feel she done a few of them wrong by either killing them off...always leaving them underestimated or "down for the count"--all the time...or always leaving them as purely evil. I'm allowed to have an opinion, am I not? I mean..what's the point of FAN-FICTION if we can't tweak these characters to suit our liking? Honestly...you probably realize by now that I'm talking about Percy Weasley, Marcus Flint, Oliver Wood, Colin Creevey, Graham Montague, Neville Longbottom, Adrian Pucey, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Ernie Macmillan, Luna Lovegood, etc. Yes...in fact I am. For example..I hate that so many people always put Percy down, making him to see like he's the bad guy or ignored completely...there's gotta be much more to him than being ambitious and somewhat aloof to some. Can't he also have a dark and daring side to him? Or bold and romantic? Give him a chance!!! Hell..even Marcus Flint is always seen as a "trollish" brute of a man who lives for Quidditch and making people miserable--why can't he be given a romantic or sweet and shy demeanor from time to time? Think about it, people. Yes..I am also sounding like a devil's advocate, not gonna deny that! Even I get tired of only reading Harry-centered fics...ya never know until ya give these peeps a shot. I know some will say "I just don't see it"..."he/she's not like the books"...or "not enough information" or "not very canon" ...whatever! You have an imagination...USE IT!)

Note as of 6/10/2014: I've done the unthinkable, I've actually decided to write something. In this case, I am a co-author. The story is called "Forbidden Origins" and it is posted on lovewriting18's profile...I provided the storyline, as you will see noted in Chapter 1 (technically it says Chapter 2, but that's when the modern-day part starts)..not the prologue. I wasn't sure if I wanted to let people know...but then I figured I'd bite the bullet and think "Why the hell not?" and guess what? I did. We started writing back in May, so there will be updates until it's complete.

The main protagonists are as follows: Percy Weasley, Colin and Dennis Creevey, Justin Finch-Fletchley and Zacharias Smith. (Note: lovewriting18 put Albus Dumbledore as one when people filter characters.) Give the story a chance, it's different. Also, as I've said before... I get tired of only reading Harry-oriented or anything with mostly the Golden Trio or Draco Malfoy all the time...they're good characters in their own right, don't get me wrong. Nothing wrong with a little change from time to time, is there? :)

This story is about a few muggleborns questioning their wizarding heritage. They ask Dumbledore for help, it doesn't go as planned. They turn to their prefect, Percy. He joins them in their crusade and they end up going on a journey they never expected. You'll have to read in order to find out the rest. This is my first story ever, it's an experiment. So...anything misspelled, grammatically incorrect and any incorrect punctuation is my fault. I'm not perfect, like I said..I'm an artist, not primarily a writer. I do not own anything HP. (I don't own the original characters JKR came up with!!! I do own the first and middle names of the extra characters as you'll see in the story, made-up spells and other shit. There are some spells that have unknown incantations like I've read online or were never specified in the books/movies, so I made those up. Just a disclaimer!!!)

I will warn you, there is going to be selective bashing of normally good-natured characters. So, if you love the Golden Trio and Dumbledore wholeheartedly and think they can do no wrong in any story, I suggest you turn back right now. Like I've stated before in my profile, I like playing Devil's Advocate and I like to twist around personalities, appearances, time frames, etc. A lot will be OOC (out-of-character) somewhat, if not, mostly. This is an AU (alternate universe) story so it won't be compliant with the books. (Ex: As in.. Colin lives. If I write anything else with him..I like keeping him alive. In this story, he is also in the same year as Harry, not one year younger like in the books!)

Also, will have slash pairings! m/m, f/f...maybe some bisexual m/f, depending on future ideas.

As of August 2014: I've began writing some fanfiction on my own, my first is called "A Snake's Angel" which features the rare pair Colin/Miles. It's my first take at writing by myself, so bear with me. Please follow what I have posted formerly in my profile, so I don't have to keep repeating myself unless it's A/N's and Disclaimers. (Also, future ideas I have with Colin...regardless if he's a major or minor character featured in my fics...just let it be implied that he lives. My ideas don't exactly correspond with the book series...so until I decide otherwise, that's how it will be. There are authors who are adamant about their choice of HP characters and their fates, so why can't I for the time being?)
