Hello! I am a sophomore in college studying music therapy. I am a huge fan of the worlds created by the amazing J. K. Rowling in Harry Potter and J.R.R. Tolkien in all his works. I also occasionally let out my inner romantic sap and indulge in a bit of Jane Austen. I am not a Twilight fan, although I do love Meyer's werewolves. I am quite new to the world of fanfiction, although I began "writing" in my head as a little girl. I would climb up in my willow tree and sit for hours allowing my child's mind to toy with my favorite characters. I never realized until a few months ago that other people also wrote fanfiction of their own.

A bit about my personal life...

I love mountains. I love looking at them, climbing them, photographing them, and even dreaming about them. I grew up in the Colorado Rockies, but now go to school far from any mountains. :( Alas, scholarship money called me far away from where my heart was. I enjoy filling my free time with reading, singing, knitting, drinking tea, and of course, reading fanfiction. I have been called both a granola and a hipster from time to time, but I actively deny these claims.

My all time favorite characters from fictional books are Severus Snape, Luna Lovegood, and Elizabeth Bennet. I can see a large bit of myself in each of these characters, both in their flaws and their strong points. I don't really fit in with many people around me as I feel very strongly about being my own person. I can tend to be bitter and cynical and expect the worst from others. I also love to learn and while I by no means see myself as a great genius, I love a great intellectual conversation from time to time.

I have just begun to enter the world of writing my random thoughts down for the consumption of others, so please be patient with me. I would love constructive criticism regarding anything I have written if you would like to help me in that way.
