Post S2 of Rick & Morty. S1 of Steven Universe. Steven and Co encounter a strange man named Rick Sanchez, who has a secret and an agenda. Soon, Steven, the gems and Rick get swept up in a war for the earth against not only the Gem Homeworld but also a whole slew of new enemies that can come from anywhere and be anyone.

Morty has a surprise for Rick's birthday, but birthdays are the last thing Rick wants to celebrate this year. Morty's not letting that keep him from giving Rick a present he made himself. What winds up happening surprises everyone.

Several months have passed since Rick left and the Federation took charge of Earth. Morty's trying to adjust, but suddenly he's being plagued by hallucinations of memories that aren't his and lives he's never lived. He feels like he's losing his mind. He doesn't understand what any of it means, what could possibly be wrong with him—and this time Rick's not around to fix things.

This is my sequel to that great movie Minutemen. It needs and deserves a sequel. Virgil gets a chance to see what would have happened had he chosen not to help Charlie on that fateful day; or at least one possible outcome.

After an argument in the cafeteria, Charlie devises a plan to cheer Virgil up.
