Hello

I started this account three years ago and I'm pretty sure anyone who has read anything of mine thought that I abandoned it. Well I've been a bit busy. The underlying message I'm trying to say is that I didn't know much about writing when I started this and the stories I have posted are probably going to stay abandoned for a bit to make way for some new content I've been working on. I might pick them up again, I might not, but I'm doing this for fun rather than anything else. I have some plot lines and stories that I want to dive into. Hopefully you all will like them but if not that's ok too. This bio is really just an overarching author's note for all the stories that I post. I know I don't read author notes very often unless I get really into the story and want more background. So here we go, background on my stories :)

LOUD MISTAKES:

I got the idea for this story when writing out The Best Brother. I went to write Percy's chapter of the story and...well it evolved into it's own story. There's so much about Percy that we don't know. He joins up with his family at the Battle of Hogwarts, but what was he doing during the time when the ministry was overtaken by Voldemort and his lackeys? Why did he ever turn against his family in the first place? This is a one-shot that I originally tried to turn into a mult-chapter fic. I decided however to leave it in it's original format.

THE BEST BROTHER:

This story is based off of a prompt I saw on Tumblr a couple of months ago. It revolves around Ron's insecurities when he compares himself to his brothers. The story basically goes through each Weasley brother and their goals in life. In some way, Ron has accomplished one of the goals of each of his brothers though he doesn't know it. They conclude it makes him the best Weasley brother. I'm not going to have a chapter for Ginny, even though I love her, because Ron never really feels much competition to Ginny besides the fact that she's special because she's a girl. I hope to update this pretty frequently until it's completed, but I can't promise much because I have a pretty busy life at the moment.

A note on Charlie's Chapter: It's been a little while since I've read Deathly Hallows and since I didn't have the book on hand, I watched the Gringotts break in scene from the movie. I then looked up the spark notes from the book. From what I saw the book says that the dragon was Harry's idea and the movie said it was Hermione's idea. I decided to write it both ways in the story to pay tribute to both the book and the movie.

A note on Percy's Chapter: It's not perfect and it's not everything that I hoped it would be. That said, I'm planning a story completely centered around Percy eventually. I think there's a lot to his character that we haven't discussed. The story centers around why Percy did not join up with his family before the Battle of Hogwarts. I found writing this chapter that if I wrote everything I wanted, it would turn into its own story...

A note on Fred and George Chapters: I contemplated making them both one chapter but ultimately decided that though they are as close as two brothers can be, Fred and George are separate characters with different goals and dreams though most align with each other's. I spent forever trying to come up with ideas for these two and their stories associated with Ron. I took some creative license here and added some stuff that isn't really based in cannon, but hey, that's what this website is for! The chapters are meant to be read together as they are supposed to compliment each other like Fred and George compliment each other.

I know George's is super angsty. One main thing I want to mention here is that I don't want their goals compared to each other. George, before Fred's death had a similar goal to Fred's that Fred never would go for that was mischief related. I wanted to focus on a different part of Ron's character that comes from growing up in a big family. Sometimes parents of big families cannot give every kid the time they need. Older siblings tend to look out for the younger ones so that mom and dad can take care of everyone in between. I come from a big family and my oldest brother is eleven years older than me. He's almost a father figure for me. The Weasley's are a huge family and with Bill's chapter there's a sneak peek into that type of sibling relationship. Here I reversed the roles which is what happens when everyone gets older. Age stops to matter and it's mostly about making sure that everyone is ok. Molly and Arthur love their sons and it would be extremely difficult for them not to constantly be reminded of Fred every time they look at George. They definitely still love and care for him with all their hearts, but having Ron as a sort of buffer for a little while after the Battle of Hogwarts would give them enough space to approach George's pain more objectively.

I also want to mention that George's goal is a lot more serious than Fred's goal because they were at different moments in their lives in their respective chapters. I also wanted to add more depth to the twins characters. I feel like they are often written off as the funny ones and that's it. Fred's death affects George on the deepest level and I don't think he ever completely recovers from that. Honestly these chapters were the hardest to write because Fred and George did achieve their life long dream. They opened up their joke shop and were super successful with it. I had to figure out secondary goals for both of them that don't exactly have roots in cannon. I would love reviews on these chapters and what you think of them.

Final Note: You guys thought I was done with just the Weasley brothers ;) Harry is a Weasley in all but name and he had to be included. Harry doesn't particularly have a goal that he wanted to accomplish rather Harry always just wanted a family and that's what Ron gave him. I hope you all enjoyed the story! I hope to start working on a new one soon since I'll have more time once finals week is over.

THE DANGERS OF THE QUIET:

This story obviously centers around Remus and Sirius and the relationship/friendship we were all denied in the books. I wrote this story as a look into depression and the way it feels and looks like. Too many people believe that depression is just being sad all the time when really it's about numbness. It's a story about perseverance rather than anything else. I don't want anyone looking at the characters and getting the idea that relying on one person will pull you out of depression, that's not the message I'm trying to send. I just wanted a story where friends recognized the hardships of the other and made efforts to be there for support. At the end of the story you'll notice Remus isn't completely ok and neither is Sirius, but they both feel better knowing the other understands.

IT'S BEEN FAR TOO LONG:

This was one of the first pieces of fanfiction I ever wrote and it was for my all time favorite fandom Percy Jackson. It was a character study of Annabeth Chase and her feelings regarding Percy's disappearance at the beginning of The Lost Hero. Mainly it was an experiment using second person and the chance for me to delve into Annabeth's inner thoughts. I wanted to experience her feelings after Percy is gone. She knows nothing. For all she knows he up and left her and he promised to build something permanent with her. I may go back and revamp it into first person, I may not. Mostly I'm leaving it up for you all to peruse in case someone out there enjoyed it.

THE CHANCE TO DO BETTER:

This story is an AU that I always have wanted to write. It's a take on the idea of Anakin getting discovered and brought to the Jedi Temple early on rather than at nine years old on Tatooine. I always wanted to see if his relationship with the Jedi would be improved and how different his relationships would be with not just Obi-Wan, but Qui-Gon, Yoda, Mace, and Padme. I have many ideas about this story and I'd welcome any questions regarding how I'm planning it out and what's going to happen when I revamp it. I will write this story I just don't know quite when it will happen. Also if anyone has better ideas for a title feel free to let me know! I'm not a fan of the original title and I meant to change it up before posting it but that didn't exactly happen...obviously.
