I'm me. Plain and simple. My name, its a tough name, but after 25 years with it I'm not sure I'd change it. Born and bred in New York City, though not to be mixed up with the city city. Ah the city: trains, sky scrapers, and people. yay. I'm recently graduated from college with my MA in Forensic psychology. FINALLY. I enjoy drawing more than writing, but I can think of more things to write then I can think to draw. So, I'm giving writing a go. Just a warning, I am not one for research. My imagination is usually off the wall stuff that probably wouldn't work in any universe but my own, so bear, or bare? with me when it gets a little crazy. I'll cool down eventually. I'm meek AND argumentative. A strange combination but hey, thats me.

My name is not shishiwastaken, nor is it even Shishi. So why did I chose it? My middle school math teacher, Ms. Li, always pronounced key parts of my name with the sound 'Shi' instead of their correct sounds. Thus I was dubbed Shishi by no one but myself. A fairly common nickname, it was of course unavailable for a screen name and rather than pick another One, I simply stated the truth: shishi was taken. Boom.

Riveting, I know. Last but not least, I suppose I should mention SOMETHING about my works. I mean, they are kind of the focus of everything around here. I've only written fanfiction for the hobbit but I'd love to expand my repertoire when I get the chance. The chance hasn't come yet, so get ready for some middle earth style fun.
