Author has written 43 stories for Harry Potter. Update 07/07/07: New fic just put up, Fifteen Days. This is one of my favorites so far. It's been begging to be written for about a year, and I wanted to do it before Book 7 came out. Enjoy. I'm ObliviousTrace, as you might have guessed. As you can tell, I sometimes write fanfiction. Harry Potter is my chosen medium, which just makes me utterly original. To top off the whole originality thing, my favorite pairing is Draco/Hermione. God, I suck. Anyway, I've written loads of fics, as you can see, but they're all really varied. I have branched out into several different pairings and characters. I've even co-authored a parody, Grip, which still cracks me up. Read it, or I shall set things on you. Flying monkies, most likely. Oh, also, I just figured out that I have an account on FictionPress. Go me. Anyway, I'm starting to upload a lot of my original stuff, so if you want to go check it out, it would be much appreciated. The Fics: 1) Expect the Unexpected: Yes, I will be continuing this. I have the entire story outlined in my head, and it will be finished. Obviously I've just hitten the snag of 'tomorrow' as in the philosophical definition of tomorrow, meaning that it will never come. However, this fic will be finished, it just won't be HBP compliant, honestly. 2) All fics are one-shots unless otherwise noted. I might develop something into more if it really inspires me, but usually my stories are written to be stand alones. I succumbed to people's desires with "What's in a Name", wrote a second chapter, and promptly hated the story forever more. So, unless I say so in author's notes, summary, whatever, the fics are one-shots. 3) I'm trying to expand in more various directions, so I would love feedback on any characters, pairings, whatever, that you would like to see written. I'm even had nigglings in the back of my head for my first slash fic (god, I'm succumbing). However, I will not write a Snape-centric fic. This is mainly for the reason that Snape is, in my opinion, Rowling's masterpiece. He is the most elaborately well structured character in the books, as HBP has just proved. I don't even pretend to understand him. I couldn't write him without feeling utterly lost. But any other character I am more than willing to try out. 4) Um, I don't think there's a point four. So please, have fun, enjoy, and if you feel like a break from fanfiction (what? Shock and horror!), go check out my original stuff. Oh also, reviews keep me warm at night. In fact, if you don't review, it's likely that they will kill my mother. And my favorite sheep. Thanks! ~ObliviousTrace |
