About Me:

I like Anime, Gaming, Football, Reading, Writing and History.

Many people ask me why I chose to start writing and here is the honest answer. Back in 2017 I was already annoyed at how Hiro Mashima was handling Fairy Tail and after reading the series to its conclusion I sat down and I said to myself you know what I reckon even someone like me could do a better job! Within a few days I had the first two chapters ready and decided to upload.

So yes despite having no experience writing anything in my life I was given the drive to do so because I was salty, how are you all not entertained? Really though as I wrote my first story and so many people gave me their support I realized that I had something good going and have been committed to doing my best as a result.

Following along those lines here is how my upload schedule works as of 15/08/2018.

If a chapter isn't at the bare minimum 5k words without the authors notes then I will not upload it until it is, despite this if the chapter sounds like garbage I will not upload it even if its been a week or more without a chapter because I don't believe in uploading random garbage. If I am sick to the point I'm not able to concentrate I simply won't write because I don't want to put out trash.

Now you might be wondering why I think like this well it plays onto a few things that annoy me when reading other fics. Now this is in no way meant to be bashing others because everyone has things they are and aren't good at these are just my own personal dislikes when it comes to reading fanfics.

When a chapter is barely a page long and yet it is simply a wall of text. No one can tell me that they honestly don't mind this there is no way anyone can sit there and just read a wall especially when it is littered with number two!

When there are so many simple spelling errors that spellcheck using a simple mouse click would fix. So many promising fics suffer from the first two and its honestly a shame. No one is going to get perfect spelling however when you receive something that looks like it was slapped together with no care in the world and it hurts your head to read it makes you wonder how someone could honestly post such a thing.

Now already I probably seem like Mr Negative and I can understand that but let's all be honest reading a chapter that is at least 3k words that has acceptable spelling and punctuation even if it has been abandoned or whatever is far more enjoyable than reading a wall that was slapped together and is barely legible.

Enough about the negatives though onto some positives I say! Here are the things I really like to see in fics.

When you can tell the writer has passion for what they are writing about. Pretty self explanatory I'd say I mean it can be only 1000 words a chapter but if there is good grammar and clear effort put in then you have my interest since that is at the very least a good guarantee that the story won't be a simple retelling of canon but with the slightest tweaks or the characterization will be enough to pull you in.

When the fanfics try something and stick with it despite what other people think. The idea of trying to implement something new and caving to pressure before you can fully flesh out your idea honestly annoys me, the whole point of this site is to write our own stuff and I love reading all the crazy and wacky things people come up with even if it honestly doesn't make sense. Want to make some weakling a Demigod because plot then you do you and don't let anyone tell you different!

Anyway here are some of my favorite franchises to read on here and pairings I enjoy and ones I don't.

Fairy Tail

Pairings I like:

Natsu x Erza - The evidence that this was meant to be is clearly there and honestly Jellal does not deserve her after all he did even if he was controlled.

Natsu x Mira - I feel that Mira would be the perfect one to stand beside Natsu. She's kind and loving but also fiercely loyal and protective of her family and with good reason given her backstory with Lisanna.

Natsu x Kagura - I find this one interesting since my love for the pairing has stemmed from the great fics out there between the pair that make Kagura have a much more appealing character than the canon one.

Natsu x Ultear - I love Ultear as a character, I like how she doesn't mess around like so many other females in Fairy Tail which not only makes her a more serious character but it makes her comedic moments actually funny when they do come around. Also the fact that she was a villain that acknowledges she was wrong but doesn't cry about it every 2 seconds like Jellal is something I admire. When she is involved in a pairing Natsu often becomes a serious badass which is also a plus in my book.

Natsu x Juvia - Literally because its an opposites attract thing haha!

Pairings I Dislike:

Natsu x Lucy - Before you come at me with the pitchforks screeching about how it's the canon pairing when its never 100% confirmed just saying let me explain my reasoning because it isn't the usual one. I acknowledge she is not weak and anyone who does suggest she is weak is foolish or is an Anime only fan. No my problem with Lucy is quite simply the way she is as a character. Yes I am a guy and I like girls and I won't deny Lucy is hot but the amount of times they use her as fanservice compared to any of the other girls is absolutely pathetic and I cannot take her seriously as a character.

Second she wants to be a Fairy Tail Mage and yet she complains constantly about almost anything that isn't the easy way and I'm not kidding either I can guarantee you with certainty that within every single arc that she is in she will complain about how she thinks the task is too hard/too much work, she will complain when more experienced mages such as Natsu, Gray and Erza make a decision that will result in her potentially put in harms way or she will complain because she needs to pay her rent but doesn't seem concerned about doing a job herself like everyone else and seems way too reliant on others to do the work for her.

Crucify me all you want these points are actual fact that are spread from start to finish in Fairy Tail I'm just being honest main female character or not it isn't an excuse.

Natsu x Lisanna - She should be dead no ifs or buts about it. Her character was perfect being dead but was brought back for literally no reason and was immediately made a background character who supposedly still wanted Natsu. Where I hate the Lucy pairing at least it has a leg to stand on but this pairing just has nothing going for it once she comes back Natsu barely even interacted with her again until the Tartaros Arc aside from small comedic moments or that one time she was compared to Yukino who is a way better character than her.

To sum it up I dislike the pairing because she shouldn't even been brought back.

Harry Potter

Pairings I like:

Harry x Daphne - In all honesty its my favorite ship for HP at present. I know that fanfiction Daphne is completely invented and that in canon she doesn't really have much of a character but I think that the way the fandom has decided to mold her character is nothing short of perfect. Her character always brings to light the failings of Dumbledore and those associated with him which leads to the good old Lord Potter story line which is always a good read but in truth the beauty of her character is she can be written as a Pureblood who can lean either way on the moral compass and it is always fun to read where people take her.

Harry x Astoria - Now this one is fun because if my favorite is Daphne then her sister being on her should be questionable since the two aren't portrayed as alike at all. I like Astoria because she's just simply a cheerful person who is capable of channeling both the comedic and serious moments in almost any fic she is in and for that I like the pairing.

Harry x Susan - I just kind of like the idea of Harry and Susan there isn't really any context behind it I just genuinely like it and based on their personalities I think they'd be alright together especially since one wants to be an Auror and the other wants to follow in her Aunts footsteps as the Head of the DMLE.

Pairings I dislike:

Harry x Ginny - The clique fan girl gets the hero trope and said fan girl is the sister of his best friend. I get that Rowling wanted to wrap the story up where everyone left alive after the war got exactly what they wanted but Ginny to me was simply too obvious a choice.

Harry x Hermione - I can't stand Hermione as a character simply because she's too bossy, a know it all and will belittle people and their beliefs without understanding them herself. Take that thing she was doing for the House Elves not only was she doing something that none of them asked for but she was spitting all over Half Bloods and Pure Bloods calling them slavers for using House Elves. If anything her character justifies the views of the Pure Bloods who feel threatened by the Muggleborns who come into their world and demand change without even bothering to learn or understand why they do things the way they do.

Naruto

Pairings I like:

Naruto x Yugito - I just like the pairing because of the various fanfic portrayals that have done her real justice.

Naruto x Samui - I really like Samui as a character and again like Yugito fanfics have done her character real justice especially in the pairings department.

Naruto x Temari - I can't think of many who hate Temari I mean she's the sister of Gaara who is a badass (his latest hairstyle notwithstanding) and an expert in the Wind Style. Her personality is also one I quite enjoy and it usually gives me a smile reading her in any fic.

Naruto x Mikoto - Mikoto is an interesting one only because I really enjoyed reading this one fic of her where she killed the entire Uchiha Clan minus Itachi and a bunch of other Uchiha girls just to run off with Naruto and from that moment on I became a fan of the pairing haha.

Naruto x Hinata - This one is a bit more complicated since it basically involves Hinata having to lose her timid personality from jump. If done right this pairing is fine however most people keep her as the standard "NARUTO KUN" nonsense and fail to add anything more than canon does to her character.

Pairings I Dislike:

Naruto x Sakura - Honestly not much needs to be said here since 90% of people will know exactly why I dislike her and either roast me for it or agree wholeheartedly. Sakura is often paired with Naruto because she's the stereotypical female teammate who spends the most time with him. Many also argue the validity of the pairing based off of Minato's words when he arrived during the Fourth Great Ninja War and the Naruto Shippuden Road To Ninja where it looked like Naruto and Sakura were having bonding moments but to me neither held any real substance and coupled with the way Sakura treats Naruto I just can't like it.

Anime And Manga I like:

One Piece Naruto Fairy Tail Bleach My Hero Academia One Punch Man Mob Psycho 100 Hunter x Hunter Yu yu Hakusho Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate Anti Magic Academy 35th Test Platoon Kingdom Literally Anything From The Nasuverse Pokemon Yu Gi Oh (Excluding Zexal) Dragon Ball Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt Magi Monster Musume Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

And many more that I can't remember haha!
