Just to give y'all a little heads up so you know more about me:

Hey! My name's Laura, and I'm a seventeen year-old lunatic from the Conspiracy Continent - you're absolutely right, theorists, Australia was taken over by the emus thirty years ago, and I'm a very well-paid actor living in South America and pretending to be an Australian in the hopes of covering up the shame of the country's shock defeat at the hands of the great flightless bird.

In all seriousness, though, I'm currently in my last year of high school and am studying far too many Math-based subjects for my liking. Once I leave school I hope to become a Navy Pilot and follow my dreams of flying and serving my country, but since that's still a few months away yet, I'm gonna spend my time well -

By that I mean I'm going to binge-watch TV, procrastinate on my Physics homework, settle a few scores on the Rugby field and spend as much time avoiding the indoors as possible with the help of my dog, Rocky, and our four horses, Jet, Dakota, Melody and Dancer.

And of course, write!

I took a bit of a hiatus from writing in general last year. Advanced and Extension 1 English really put me off the written word - I will forever be scarred by the dullness of Plath, Austen and Weldon - but now that I don't have to listen to the monotonous drone of my teacher and pretend to care about the dullest works of literature on the bloody planet, I find myself tempted by the old familiar itch to create!

I update as often as my imagination and internet access will allow.

I will make no promises to stick to a regimen, as that never works.

Ok, ignore that last remark; this month I do have a regimen to stick to. It's Camp NaNoWriMo! And that means daily writing! I'm so pumped for this - my entry this April is being published on both and AO3 (might put it on Wattpad at a later date but I dunno) since it is a work of fan fiction, so feel free to check out my Voltron: LD fic down below! I will be updating it (hopefully) daily; depending on whether or not I push out a chapter every day or make the effort to write longer pieces and update every two or three days.

Regardless, expect rapid updates and sorta half-decent writing!
