Not really sure what to have here, so...basics. Please forgive any lapse; I'm completely a WIP as are we all. (Note: joined site Archive of Our Own to Xpost stories that will have art to go along with them. Not all will, and not all will bridge the gap between hither and yon, though I will add an 'epilogue' chap to the ones here when I do. Q: Writer? A: Yes. Scientific research/tech. Attempting fiction here for fun and distraction; apologies for the growing pains.

Q: Interest in critique? A: You betcha. I'm a fan (and purveyor) of kind honesty, and like to learn new things. Help in honing craft is always appreciated.

Q: Detail freak? A: Duh. Visual and linguistic. Requirements for job and life. I can get a little snarled in it on occasion.

Q: Wait, visual? A: Yep. Among other hats I wear, I'm a free-lance medical illustrator. I find that sums me up pretty well to strangers: little weird, with a weird job, love of knowledge, the acquiring of same as I can, to the best of my ability on any given day and/or level of interest. Frankly, the act of transitioning information to education regarding med/sci words or art to other folks really isn't that different a process; just the modalities utilized. Kind of hoping writing fic will do the same thing - amuse others with the same imaginative tangles that amuse me.

Q: Are you funny? A: Sometimes. Sometimes it's even purposeful ;-) I'm an overly serious INTJ with a well-veiled robust appreciation for pratfall in self and others. Life is way too short to be taken completely seriously regardless of circumstances.
